All you had to do was remove the rear passenger wheel , motor mounts, exhauts, Clutch, intake coolant lines etc and the engine slides out the side.... You made wayyy more work for your self then what was needed....
@@trxtech3010 fella just dropped one off. It's a 2011. He already has seats out. I don't usually do motor work. Never Polaris . But hard times. Can't be fussy.
So I saw a video where a guy actually sucked the oil out of his HPOP, and I was wondering if that is actually necessary. If you're putting a thinner oil in for winter I could understand. But if you're not is there a point?
You can pull just the motor but the bolts that mount it to the trans are kinda hard to get to and there isn’t really a way to hook just the motor to a hoist without it hitting the frame. I did pull just the motor out but i lifted it out by hand, sucker is heavy.
@@romanriccobono8805 Just pulled the 2 14mm nuts on bottom,2 14mm on top,4 10mm on top and 1/2" motor mount bolts. Pulled it by hand with no hoist and dropped the reman in. Very simple.
I took my 2010 lacrosse to get the oil changed and a day later my car is knocking shaking and some more stuff that it wasn’t doing before the oil change what could’ve gone wrong
If its coming from the engine, maybe they put the wrong oil in it or they didn’t tighten the drain plug properly and if fell out and the oil dumped out?
I have to replace the stator in mine, and I’ve been told I’ll have to pull the engine....so this video showed me what I’m about to get into. Thanks for sharing.
