Stop comparing artists! All of them have influences but as what they say "You cannot compare apple from banana". In music, there is what you call "rendition", so stop non sense comparisons. Morissette is Morissette; Charice is Charice. And they are both great artist on their own way. Period.
Doesn't exist a profissional film of this? It was filmed by a cellular phone probably, it's an amateur recording. The sound is not good, it seems she is singing from far. It is so amateur that someone covers the image in a part.
The original is better. Lauren’s voice fits the song a lot better than Morissette’ in my opinion. Morissette still did an amazing job and made it look extremely easy.
I agree with you Ive heard so many covers of this song but I always come to Morissette, in fact for me her version is the standard of all covers, and honestly I like her version better than the original too.
