"number talks is silent". What an oxymoron. "talk" should NOT be "silent". You literally took a great method of teaching and turned it inside out into garbage. On top of that you're not modelling with place value. This is NOT visual, not kineasthetic and NOT multisnesory. I'll keep this video in my collection as "how not to do it"

Unless this video was edited, I did not see at the beginning how students determine what to look for when defining a word, i.e.: a synonym, antonym, inference, etc. Can you explain how a student discerns which one to use when defining an unknown word?
