Ananda members are disciples of Paramhansa Yogananda. Yogananda was born in India in 1893 and is best known as the author of the best selling book The Autobiography of a Yogi.
Swami Kriyananda is a direct disciple of Paramhansa Yogananda and is an internationally known author, lecturer, and composer. Widely recognized as one of the world's foremost authorities on meditation and yoga, he has taught these principles and techniques to hundreds of thousands of students around the world. In 1968, Kriyananda founded Ananda Village in Nevada City, California, dedicated to spreading the spirit of friendship, service, and community throughout the world.
Ananda is recognized as one of the most successful intentional community in the world. Today, over 1000 people reside in seven Ananda communities throughout the U.S. (Seattle, Palo Alto, Portland, Sacramento) and in Assisi, Italy and Delhi, India.

I'm an Ananda devotee waiting patiently to be made a minister to be the leader of the Northern Minnesota chapter. I have read 📚 a number of spiritual books and have a really deep understanding of how to meditate 🧘♂️ how the kundalini shakti works, how tapasia doing pranayama all day long changes the mindset and the Mysticism of paramahansa yogananda with swami kryiananda's version of the gita commentaries nearly memorized. I'm practicing brahmacharia nowadays doing kumbhaka pranayama training my subconscious mind to pause to the point of breathless ecstasy hopefully or in the very least the tranquil breath. Someday I'll be a great soul, giving classes, and integrating the Mysticism from the far east to the Mysticism of the west to streamline it to fit into the western cultural communities mindset. You're all my Heroes love ya Nayaswami Jaya!

He died by heart attack ,doing yoga for his entire life then his disciples claimed that he achieved. Samadhi by leaving his earthly body ,lie after lie .what is a samadhi ?how can a dead person perform a samadhi .these Hindus are the most corrupt ,dangerous ,cunning ,cruel liars of the world. If yoga makes one so strong and long lived and brave then why these Hindus have the longest slaves history in the world ?
🧘♂️Amazing stuff🙏. I’m a Aussie comedian/rapper and ppl hardly ever believe me when I say that the likes of Babaji and Yogananda inspire me and motivate me in my craft. It’s because of cliche and stereotypes. I’ve also suffered an inhumane & UNFATHOMABLE amount since a doctor’s error destroyed both my kidneys at 5yrs old (now 38). My point: these teaching are universal in so many aspects and I’m glad ppl can find this stuff on yt so accessible. -m✌️🩵🦾
