What a gift to her fans that he shared this tragedy with us. This is her story and her truth . What a sad end to a short beautiful life Patsy was a gift .
Sad story, I was a baby ( in Mexico) when this happened, I just saw a biography movie about Patsy and I was mesmerized with her angelic voice. I didn't expect the end of the movie, it hurt my heart. May she rest in peace.
Hollywood could give 2 rat farts if any of you are upset it isn’t how it really happened. They will add or leave out details as they see fit to make the maximum amount of money on their movie.
Mr. Lester knew, as so few do now, the true history and foundation of the United States, as established by our English founding fathers. As he stated it so well....."A Mosaic, Judeo/Christian nation". That is precisely why the ungodly have flooded her like a cancerous growth.
The downside to movie biopics is that they take TOO many liberties with the actual facts. Crashing into a mountain was NOT necessary. I agree with other posters.
Should have never happened. Rickety old plane and overloaded w 4 people and all that luggage , a gas gauge switch that didn’t want to work. She should have never gotten on that plane. I’m angry.
Yeah what I got out of it you and others took stuff that was evidence to a crash scene for financial gain this stuff should be in a museum not in your store it’s sad how people rushed there and took stuff that don’t belong to them
Eb was always my favorite character cause of his smile and loving nature.... But now after hearing his politics, I really wish he would run for office cause he understands the problem and isn't afraid to fix it. I am just so grateful he spoke up here cause times are so depressing for so many of us as we feel we aren't allowed to speak, and then are treated like criminals just for being pro-life or christian when we do. I am just so proud of you Eb and Thank you for supporting the Christians and being so brave and bold. God bless. I love you all.
"The crash site of Patsy Cline, and the others on that plane". Cowboy Copas and Hawkshaw Hawkins, name's deserve to be mentioned every single time this crash is talked about. To mention them as "the others" is so disrespectful to those guys, and their families!
Wow, is Eb fired up! The news girl is looking for a way outta this, you can see it on her face. As a kid, I watched Green Acres when it was in prime time.
I have an interesting connection with the actor who played Eb on Green Acres. I grew up in El Paso, Texas, and my parents had a couple who were friends of theirs who owned a little Christian bookstore. They were friends with Tom Lester, who played the character on the sitcom. He came to town for a visit, and because they were busy, they asked if I could hang around with him for the day and keep him entertained. I was all of 12 or 13 years old at the time! Anyway, I spent the day with Tom and found him to be a very kind, warm and down-to-earth guy. I mean, he was willing to hang around all day with a kid, right? It's a day I'll never forget.
Okay, this is a great interview, the kind you always want to hear but never seem to get. So it is very valuable and Mr. Phifer's remembrances are gold. As for him keeping some of the personal effects and the plane wreckage, I don't have a problem with it, given the circumstances, but surely there must be some kind of regulations, either with the police or the NTSB or the EMTs or the county, about the proper disposition of crash materials! Don't they usually cordon off a crash area and keep the public outside the parameter, and don't official personnel have some official procedures that forbid the carting off of "souvenirs" or wreckage material that needs to be examined to determine the cause of the crash??? Sounds like no one was thinking about that that day.
Geez, how many people need to comment that the crash scene was portrayed inaccurately? It says so in the description and a hundred other people have already commented the same thing. Talk about beating a dead horse.
