Definitely like to relax. Unless the “go, go, go” is fun but its usually necessary errands lol hope Louie gets to feeling better! My parents had to change up their dogs food and treats bc of stomach issues
I have This Time Tomorrow on my TBR for this month as well! I just watched another booktuber say she read it around her birthday and it made a bigger impact and she loved it. My birthday was June but still excited to read it!
Glad you're back! Love watching your videos. (: July was my best reading month as well, and I've heard a lot of other people say the same. July must have had some good reading vibes in the air or something! 📚 Meal prep has saved my sanity and my budget for sure! I've been doing it for years and I also cooked at a summer camp for the past two years, so I've gotten pretty crafty with using what I have on hand and saving money while eating healthy. I guess my best tips are to have some things on hand for low mental-health days, like steam packs of rice/veggies, protein pastas and your favorite jarred sauces, etc. that can be paired with an easy protein so that you can still stay on track when you don't feel good. And to prep ahead of time when you can. Like if you are using the same veggies in tonight's meal as tomorrow's meal, why not prep them both tonight while you already have them out? That way you're only using a tiny bit more effort today, you're getting less dishes dirty, and tomorrow you can just dump the veggies in the pan. Haha Hope that helps!
Shady Hollow looks like such a cute read. My August TBR includes White Fang, Under the Whispering Door, A Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet, and Serafina and the Seven Stars. These are for the Deck of TBRathon. I have more to choose, but I can’t pick them yet because of the TBRathon cards that I picked. I hope Louie is all healthy. My cat was attacked by an animal in our backyard…she had to have her tail amputated! 🥲 She has recovered nicely.

So far this summer my favorite has been Summer Romance by Annabel Monaghan. But also absolutely love Just for the Summer, I read it as an ARC in January. Definitely my favorite book of the year so far.
Everytime I hear that title "Everytime I Go On Vacation Someone Dies" I think of Phoebe being convinced that someone dies everytime she goes to the dentist. 😂

do dnfs count toward your 100 book reading goal? I'm wanting to give myself a set goal next year and am looking to start small. i think I'd get pretty discouraged with dnf books
Love it! I'm still figuring out what kind of reading journal I want to do. Last year I tried bullet journaling, and I was too extra, so it was so time consuming. 😂 This year I got the always fully booked reading planner and I like it, but it has a lot of things I don't use, and I miss bullet journaling. I think I want to go more simplistic and do some bullet journaling and use stickers. Thanks for sharing!
I bought a journal to do this I just need the time to set it all up 😅 for monthly resets, I like when people go over monthly favorites, maybe do a clean up of their space & discuss some of their favorite moments in the previous month 💕
I just bought and started that little book nook a couple of weeks ago. It is VERY tedious and the books are annoying to make but it's all turning out so cute. Definitely need to have a glass of wine or just turn off the perfectionist part of your brain before starting on it. Haha
I love this kind of video! I'm retired and I still don't read that many pages per day. I've figured out that it's better if I have several books going at the same time (never used to do that) because I get a little bored or irritated with a book sometimes so switching up keeps things fresh. 😊
Yes totally agree, I don’t usually read too much like the book RU-vidr’s . But I love my reads. thanks to your videos, I started using audiobooks during my workouts and daily mother chores.
I read assassins blade first and it really helped me become attached to celena and the story. It gives a lot of background that comes back around again further into the series!
I read The Do Over during valentines week, I thought it was very adorable. Could get a bit repetitive of course for some things but still liked it. Yes it is a YA.
