I have an almost double impact from about 2012, I only recently retired it. It never broke just wore beyond the point of being usable. I posted several videos about it. I’m 6’3, 230
I got an 8.8 screaming hand in green, this is the second time I've bought this board and I'm totally in love. Any time I get a smaller size or different brand it feels totally off, I'm super impressed with SC's quality and consistency.

the reason why it feels sketchy is because it’s around the central London area and the fact that it’s under a bridge. I know someone who got stabbed not too far away from this skatepark (don’t worry, he’s fine now thankfully)
You mentioned your feet slid around a bit before they were broken in, but I have a fairly wide foot so mine were pretty tight right from the beginning.
Great video. Wish you would have explained the little pop-out you seem to be doing though. I can bs smith on small ramps, but i tried to land one on a 5 ft quarter with high coping yesterday, and got hung up pretty bad. I think i was probably too high up (legs too straight), and didn't lean on my toe enough or something.
I just bought a Santa Cruz Dot 80s Cruiser. It's my first time back on a skateboard in 22 years! It's only been a few days, but I am so happy with the purchase.
Santa Cruz was my very first board back in 1999.second hand. Nose and tail where almost gone 😁 After that i had Flip, Flip, Flip, Think, Habitat and since 2010 i stuck on Almost.
In the 80's i used Santa Cruz boards. I loved them better than Vision boards, which were more cash, lesser value in my opinion. Plus, the epic red dot Santa Cruz logo is hard to beat if you really want the retro look. I'm too old to skate now, but I just got my daughter a Cruz board, and it looks rad, she loves it, and it's a bit of a bragging piece too since all her friends only have crappy generic boards. I also cannot believe how smooth the bearings are in the wheels, way better than they were 35 years ago!
One of my homies is selling me a Santa cruz for 50, said it comes with slimeballs. If y'all know what that is💀but im buying it for my little brother he's always wanted one I hope he likes it lmao
