Likert scale itself is inherently not normal (Aboy, 2023). Likert data is treated as ordinal variable. The appropriate measure of average and dispersion is Median and IQR. Median is less sensitive to outliers and skewed distributions compared to mean. IQR is less influenced by extreme values compared to SD.

Kung irereverse coding po yung negative for instance, sa positive statement po (I know...) 4 ang sagot which is strongly agree then sa negative statement (I do not know..) ay 1 ang sagot which is strongly disagree. Kung irereverse coding po yung sagot sa negative magiging 4 ang 1. Pareho na po strongly agree (4) ang positive and negative statement.. Kapag ganyan po ba ang case no need na magreverse coding?
