Just found you video, the first one where we live, my wife and I are fishing the NE near Burgaw, very black water and having zero luck, lots of fish on the finder but very hard to get hits.... since you know the river where we are, any advice or tips to get us started? We are literally getting no bites trying jigs but no bites and always getting snagged. Very much beginners, but faithful at trying. Thanks!
My scale of many years finally decided to call it quits so I bought one of these lip griper / scale and when I got it I was disappointed in the product and figured for the cost difference I would get the smart scale from Bubba. My other scale was accurate so I won't even bother with that aspect BUT the "feel in hand" of the bubba scale is awesome. Feels like you are holding something of quality. With the different modes, it's also fun to use when competing against buddies or your fishing partner.
What kinda line are you running? i just got my first bfs combo and have no clue what to use. my ultra light spin set up has 6lb jbraid that i love but idk if thats the right choice for bfs
For that one that is too thin, just a strip of black foam tape inside would close the gap and catch it, so you don't have the hard edge torqueing against the rod. Otherwise, frickin awesome solution.
Great video! I have been fishing that lake since 1978. It is the most beautiful lake in SC for sure. It also has some giant bass. It is super clear and full of structure. It has 4 different bass species: largemouth, smallmouth, spotted, and redeye ( Bartrum's bass).
Great Idea....I wouldve kept them off the floor. Maybe a horizontal piece of wood with a hole cutout (2x4) nailed to a 1x4 thats mounted on the wall. Otherwise, great idea....I only have 4 rods...but even those are a nuisance. Thanks Much
Just got the Kinetic ultralight 7’ spinning rod. What size reel would be the best? I’m not sure what the best option between the legalis, Sahara or nasci
27:32 dude it’s summer and you just leave the fish sitting on your carpet (nice xpress, that’s the only positive feedback I can give you ) ..you boat flip a quality fish, it comes off and gets thrown to the captains seat/ floor.. then you go to get it then stop and stand there to talk about ????what?? Pick up the damn fish you fool, take care of your fish, for this reason alone I’ll stop the video, not subscribe, and never see your shitty content again. Amateur. A hole. This is a huge problem in the sport is the HUGE amount of people who shouldn’t be handling fish or just don’t care or don’t know how. Shame dude. Also you’re way overworking the baits
Damn that was a fun video. I gotta switch it up now and then with different techniques. Even if youbonly catch one 4 or 5 pounder its worth it. You still diggin that boat?
I need some confidence...ive never owned a jon boat super unsure about stability ..im interested in a 12ft if anything it would be for me and just a friend to go out bass fishing in small lakes and rivers...is a 12 ft jon boat good enough??
Yeah that sucks y’all can’t keep flounder up there , here in Mississippi we don’t have no season it’s 12” long and 10 a person all year any means gig or rod and reel
Possibly. You might need something stronger to hold the handle end of the rods, maybe cut pieces of a pvc pipe to slide the handle in then these clips further up the rod. I would place the clips a little closer to the handle on a thicker part of the rod than I have them here, To give the clips more to grip onto to hold them in place better.
Sounds like an anti reverse backup pawl. Not sure it could be something else but it’ll be on the anti reverse ratchet gear below the main gear and will be slightly bent and will be dragging on that gear
