Nice work, nice color too! Reminds me of an Allis Chalmers orange. Something different on a Power Wagon, instead of the reds, blues, and greens others paint their trucks!👍
Great job Taylor Ohhh getting closer....keep up good work....can tell in voice your getting excited.....i am still looking for 9 foot box to get started on mine. Have few....located...may know by next week on one.....other has not replied back yet Keep vidios coming
Hi Vince! Send over some pics on my Instagram Page @classic_Power_wagons. For the E Brake I might try and place it in the middle like the original power wagons. Might change all the levers to original power wagon levers
Your truck looks great, amazing progress and good fab work! Like how you keep period correct round mirrors. I have same on my 1947 PW. I have a recommendation for you, buy Hogan Fattie mirror round “lens only” and use silicone to glue them over your flat mirrors and you will love the field of vision increased by the new Fattie’s. Make a huge difference. Best to you, George.
Ok thanks....little far from states...colorado Keep videos coming....think your doing great And thank you...figuring out how to put my 54 power wagon cab on 94 cummins with out shorting the frame....9 foot box!!!! Keep vidios coming....found you few years ago...then found latest vidios Keep after it
Hi again, I tried to reply to your comment below but I can not figure out how to reply to your reply as RU-vid gives me an error? Anyway if you send me your email I can send you a few pictures? What I noted is your cab is from a 2 wheels drive truck not a power wagon and that its looks to me like a older truck than a1957, as my 1947 have same Guage and dash setup as yours. I am using all stock gauges, water temp, oil pressure, and fuel level (with a voltage drop resister and ohm bridge to correct) I am also using satellite drive to spin the stock speedometer but I am not using the AMP Guage, and I have often market gauges for diesel monitoring. Good luck to your Build.George.
Hi, love your truck! I have 1947 Dodge PW mounted on 1997 Dodge 2500 4x4 extended cab (cut out about 3 feet chassis) and now single drive line. I did not cut the FW to fit 6BT and 5 speed, I relocated my Radiator, intercooler, AC condenser, two batteries, extra electric. Water pump to “tool box” in rear. Works great! I added 47 inch tires and am in the process of resizing fenders to match tire arc for better look. Good luck with your build.
That’s awesome! Post up a video or send some info to me on instagram at @classic_power_wagons I wanted to not have to cut the frame on this one. I plan to build a few off this plat form now that I got everything in place. I didn’t really loose to much space from the cab not that that space was usable. I’m non-intercooled on this setup which helped out for space as well.
