Aloha, I just found you today! I first watched you reacting to Hua Hua and now Dimash! These are my two favorite artists that I listen to on a daily basis. Of course, there is no one of Dimash’s vocal level; a one in a lifetime talent! Though Hua Hua comes real close to how he meshes genres into masterpieces! It is super interesting to watch interviews of these two! You should watch Dimash’s backstage of the singer 2024 and how he is glued in on each singer’s performance. He is always either harmonizing or drumming to certain ones. He has a very sharp ear for music! Mahalo for your attentive reactions to these two. Others you might watch: So Hyang - Bridge Over Troubled Water/Lean On Me/I Have Nothing, Forestella - Legends Never Die/Bad Romance/Bohemian Rhapsody/Time in A Bottle and Dan Vasc - Amazing Grace/American Triology/Music of the Night. Enjoy going down these very different artists’ rabbit holes! Love from Hawaii!
17:38 IT's still too risky - if that Dragon's fat dad gets impatient waiting for him to come back (I doubt he'll think that something has happened to him because they're too arrogant to think that anyone could harm them or wish to harm them) he'll send the navy after them. Even if everyone agrees to keep quiet we can't guarantee someone won't panic and crack under pressure or let something slip. And we can't guarantee the navy won't attack on suspicion instead of on facts, we know how bad the prejudice against fishmen is and we know how ruthless the navy can be.
13:34 I still say that's the biggest challenge the Live Action series will face - where are we going to find actors as hideously ugly as the Celestial Dragons?
0:56 My own imaginings of what should have happened when Arlong said "Brother Tai was a fool" was for someone to slap him in a sudden rage and say through angry tears 'don't you DARE say that' - but I think Hatchan saying "Arlong..." the way he did said that enough.
20:17 Arlong took the path of revenge - and Macro (the one who was crying when Koala left and saying "Don't go, you're a good girl even though you're a human") took the root of a self-serving by becoming a slave trader (we saw him when we met Hatchan again before we got to Sabody Park, I'm sure he was the one who put Hatchan in that cage). I'm not sure which is worse. Even though Arlong disgraced the ideals of the Sun Pirates of liberation and freedom by as good as enslaving an entire village, I still feel like the word 'traitor' applies more specifically to Macro.
18:18 He freed the slaves that the law says are the rightful property of the Celestial Dragons, of course they'd say it was an attack. Besides, he has to attack so that the guards could be taken down so that the slaves had a chance to get away.
There's a trivia about the white beard's brazilian voice actor, he was an old guy who had some health problems, and the guy who was directing him (zoro voice) at the time white beard first appear on the anime wayyy back before marine ford knew that marine ford was going to take a while, so they already recorded all the voices for marine ford at that time... When they get to the point of everyone record marine ford the guy was too sicck to do it but the director already got the work recorded years ago and the guy couldn't work or pay his bills, so 'zoro' just marked the work as ''done'' and used the recordings and pay the guy to help him, years later (2024) the marine ford arch gets published os netflix dubbed in portugese and the guy had already passed away...'Zoro' Risked hiw job to help the guy in need.. So imagine for brazilians hearing a voice of a pretty important voice actor at his prime who already passed away being brought back to life to portrait a experienced pirate like white beard and ending his career with this kind of words like ''i've been traveling for a long time, it was a great voyage!' The brazilian zoro (director until now), luffy and usopp have a channel called Mistubukai where they dub the chapters every week and interview people, it's a love for one piece that i cannot explain in a comment, and 'zoro' explain this story on the channel, the video is called ''A VOZ QUE NEM A MORTE CALOU''- ''the voice that not even death shut, if guys are interested in knowing in first hand, i guess is the first time in an anime of a post mortem voice acting being published... much love, keep it up with the journey
