Hi everyone, Thanks for taking a look at our channel. We are passionate about cars, 4WD’s and anything mechanical really.
We specialise is dyno tuning diesel vehicles. We do this by remapping the factory ecu to gain power, torque and fuel economy.
Are you looking at lifting your vehicle? We supply and fit suspension lift kits and tailor them to your needs. There are videos on our channel of different height lift kits on all sorts of makes and models.
What about an exhaust system? We supply and fit turbo back exhaust systems and can dyno tune to suit by doing an ecu remap.
4wd Accesories and custom fitouts are a favourite of ours! We will load videos of all the different options like Canopy, bullbar, sliders, uhf, snorkel, airbox, dual battery and lots of options to help you offroad.
Like you we enjoy getting out camping with our family and friends. This channel is here to take you on the adventures with us and show you some of the products we love to use.
@@procheckautomotivemechanic4551 Totally agree … I put one on a TRD Hilux and it upset the driving dynamics and noticeably affected the fuel economy. I much prefer not to hit anything. 160k and I avoided goats and Roos, but it was, I guess, useful in tight bush tracks to prevent damage and knowing exactly where the front of the vehicle was. Cheers - it’s a great option.
A better intercooler will lower intake air temps and keep the car making the maximum power and torque. If the intake air temps rise the cars ECU will pull power
Hey man I got a 2024 sr5 coming. Is it safe to change the head until? Or keep the original you reackon? Will it start fucking up any electricals if I put a new one in.? Cheers
I had my Fortuner Crusade shift actuator sheet itself before getting it replaced. All I could achieve was 5th gear, and that was at a high-speed hint hint and still wouldn't hit 6th. After the replacement, now it reaches 6th and now holds it at 100kph. Maybe Toyota did an update on the transmission
This Hiace had 800kms on it and we do all new Hilux’s and fortuners all the time and the software is the same. You got lucky with something there ha ha
Does work with iPhone as that’s what I’m using Your car just needs to have wired CarPlay for this module to convert it to wireless as mentioned in description
Hi, do you know anybody in the perth area that does something similar to your tune and transmission remap for a 2018 200 series. What you're achieving is what im after - not a dirty black smoking / over fueling thing thats not me , I love my 200 series but would also love a bit more power and less flaring / high transmission temps when towing 3,500 kg caravan. Kind regards Clarky
From looking at delete cables, not all vehicles are the same once installed, some might need a retune , some might not so it might be a, horses for courses scenario
My understanding is that these cables, just trick the valve into staying closed and keeping the exhaust out of the intake, by keeping it closed. It will assist in stopping the intake from fouling. And stopping the engine getting USED air, heavily reduced in Oxygen. But won't stop the EGR from failing, and allowing cooling water loss into the exhaust, and maybe some seeping past the EGR valve into the intake ...... not nice outcomes.... But then again without the huge temp fluctuations, the cooler isnt being stressed, and as long as cooling water quality is kept up, its unlikely to fail like they do
well in my understanding it should be fine to use a blanking cable (but might be ok on some vehicles and not on others but), because the erg is not always being used at high revs , so it comes more into play when cruising along , so if the vehicle can work without it opening if you are driving a bit like you stole it, it should be sweet all the time, just a thought.
@@derektitch Haha Yes...... My understanding also, The EGR valve opens to let exhaust in when there's little power demand, like around town, or Cruise Control open road Then it closes as more power is needed. I think that it uses Vacuum, for indicating it..but not sure.. So yeah a hard throttle keeps the EGR valve closed
Pain in the arse the trailblazer with its environmental bs. I had the manifold replaced under warranty once before, only had 22k on the car, Dealer whined that I needed to drive it longer to clean it out etc. Then there's the stupid warning that comes on when it wants to dump fuel into the catalytic to burn off the carbon build up, you have to drive for 15 mins or more until it's happy. So you have to burn more fuel because of the whole setup, how is that better for the environment? Kind of disappointed in diesel engines now. My engine light has come on and it's showing this P12AF code on my device as well, now only 33k on the clock. Now I'm out of warranty, no idea what this will cost. Might be better to get rid of it and go petrol, don't think they have these issues.
@@procheckautomotivemechanic4551 o ok. I didn't know it was a Diesel. I thought it was a gasoline engine as they are now moving towards direct injection, which I'm trying to educate myself on as a former Auto Mechanic. I did not go into Diesel when in School now I find myself more interested in technology as it is a different animal.
Be good if you did a real world test. EGRs only operate at rest or at cruising speeds. Not at WOT in the 1:1 gear. Sure it may use more fuel where you tested it, but 99% of driving doesn't take place in your test conditions. Where using the cable actually saves fuel, as it's not choking the engine up with its own shit.
You’d have to drive massive km with a cable fitted to go through $1595 of extra diesel, so if you’re not flogging the diesel through summer sand dunes and therefore not running in significantly higher IAT what’s the downside? If you are driving in those conditions wouldn’t EGT increase and the ECU adjust anyway?
You’re making 1400nm on stock injectors? Those poor injectors aren’t closing at all then. As I said we can push it harder but why when the car is built to tour around Aus fully loaded? No need to make numbers to look cool on the internet
