I always punish the double ground slam assaults with this, charging the heavy also grants stagger immunity.

And the power sword can kill in 2 hits if you swing once into the the special attack then cancel the animation of the slam by blocking. It’s not as good as the fist but it’s more fun imo

I agree with his take but it wasn’t bad I’m just upset he goes with the aoe swing everytime he come down from the alarm instead of the chaser hit bc the chaser is guaranteed kills while the aoe basic misses a lot

This is how the class is meant to be played on a TDM mode. Try running up to ANYONE, even a guardsmen, and tell me how that goes...oh wait you're already dead because it's a MELEE class with as much armor as the sniper class. It's designed for hit-and-run tactics.

That’s because the melee kinda sucks. The time to kill will almost always be slower than a gun and less safe ofc. I think only the assault can use melee as its main dmg

Because the bulwark shield's only ranged counter is being flanked, or a grenade. And the only classes that counter the bulwark are the vanguard and assault which both have a lot of players that play pretty poorly hoping their abilities will get them all their kills.

He’s not using the power sword. It’s much better has more cleave you can kill 2-3 people that are bunched up.

You say " a good team" and then you also say "You wouldn't be able to survive an encounter with me." So what you are really saying is you need other people the same as he does. I think this is the real issue woth pvp in this game, there isn't enough individual tools to deal with all situations, HEAVILY reliant on team strategy and positioning.

nah he is actually a good Bulwark and knows how to work WITH the team.

He's playing bulwark how you should, not over extending and staying close with the team. I usually retreat to the rest of my team if I realize I'm the only one alive, or I usually run to where there are grenades to punish people chasing.
