I have a small Teng Tools bit set that hangs in my pocket. It has a quarter inch extension that will fit in the Rocktol bit holder, and will get around the lack of ball retention.
How is that stock? I have been looking into the different options Magpul vs hogue etc and this one was on a list and they said the finish was wonky and it was low quality. Any input?
- no issues with the finish on mine. I have a magpul stock on my AR and definitely prefer it over the adaptive tactical but I don’t know how their one is for the 10/22
I agree completely! I can’t stand when some holsters absolutely destroy the finish on my pistols. I’m okay with wear over time but not from just a few draws and there is scratch mark all the way down the slide. Especially when gun finishes are not cheap to get redone
- I get so many comments about how your gun is a tool and you shouldn’t care about how it looks. I like mine to look clean. I have pistols that are almost always 20 years old that look brand new
- I don’t claim to be a marksman. 10 shot groups I could probably do palm size groups with this rifle. I have a Ruger 10/22 as well and the S&W groups better
I have one kislux bag I got in 2019, it's the LV white catogram speedy. It's counter quality and it has a nice honey patina now, so the leather is real. I think whatever makes you happy go for it. I've seen LV with plastic leather and blood red glaze...
I’m looking for a rmsc dot for my tisas 1911 ds. I don’t want to have to take the dot off to change the battery. so I’ll have to skip this. Would be good for a budget gun. My budget gun already as a dot and I’m thinking of moving it over lol.
- I prefer top load or side load as well. TBH though, I can usually go over a year between battery changes. I go to the range twice a month so if I have to rezero a dot it’s not a problem
It would be super helpful if you put "v2" in the name of the video. I've been looking through a dozen youtube videos trying to find a review for the v2 and watched this one because it looked the same shape, but you didn't mention it being the v2 until 25 minutes in. Thanks, though.
I have a Contour for my 365 X-Macro TacOps, and it does not conceal well at all. It doesn’t ride very close to my body, and prints seriously under an oversized polo shirt. It works well in cooler weather when I can wear a jacket, but for warmer weather, it doesn’t work.
I have the SFT40 version also. So far, my favorite EDC flashlight. I think it's the best balance of flood and throw. On high, it can run without temperature stepdown, and it's bright enough. At least on my temperature setting of 55. Turbo is there if need be, but I usually don't need it. If I really need a brighter light, I have others.
- they’re decent and worth the price. I’ve honestly never had any issues with plastic ones either though. You can get some Magpul mbus knockoffs for around $20
All kinds of cheap ass gimmicks attached to a cheap ass scope. Just what the "Tacti-Cool" kids would want. Totally laughable. I would talk entirely too much trash to someone if I saw this shit attached to their firearm... 🤣🤣
Great video. Size would fit perfect on my outdoor table. I'd love one. What with the second and third burn it sounds like SpaceX. Can you buy heat diffusers for these, or cooking utilities? 👍
@@Steve-Goff Thanks mate. I bought a grill grate for my large fire pit, so as to get some air underneath the burning wood. Old things like that cost a fortune in the UK, but I was fortunate enough to buy one from a farm shop, selling all sorts of old weird stuff, for just £3.00. I wouldn’t be able to cut one, but you’ve given me a great idea. I could buy a new household metal drain hole cover. Cheers 🍻🍔
- since adding the Holosun, I probably only have 150 rounds through it so it definitely hasn’t been torture tested or anything. So far though, no complaints at all
- I had it almost 2 years ago and gave it to a friend immediately after the video. Most of those 12v barrel ports are 5521 or 5525. If you’re sure 5521 isn’t it, I’d say it’s 5525
- there are scenarios but I personally don’t ever see myself in them. Say you’re shooting from your stomach and the grass is a little high. The longer legs will help clear obstacles better
- I mentioned it in the video. I screwed up by following their directions. I wasn’t paying attention until I got to the range and realized all my adjustments were not correct. I’ve honestly had dozens and dozens of scopes. Complete error on my part
Haha I saw that about 5 mins later and the comment jumped down the page so I gave up trying to find it. Great vid though I just ordered one. Have a great week!
- i’ve had guns where I spent more on holsters than the gun itself. I found tulster 3-4 years ago and they’re definitely my favorite. I like the Profile with the Sidekick and dcc monoblock clip
Big axe do little axe job. Little hatchet not do big axe job. I want one so bad. But after watching this. I see I won't buy this. Thanks for the video.
- The modular heads is what makes this unique. They’re actually making more heads than what I showed in the video. They’re going to have a hammer head. It’s definitely pricey but the uniqueness and cool factor make it worth it to me
- I definitely prefer top load or a side door but most of those are $250 and above. I go to the range twice a month so it’s not a big deal to me to have to re-zero it once every couple of years
