How do minors sign in if they cant create an account? They have to be 21 so they cant sign in and link a booking to know what ship he's even on? Theur tech support said they have to be with a parent on the ship. Hes 14! She dont know the answer so gives me this malarkey. 1st time on MSC hopeful, but they are definitely technically challenged w the web , Voyagers Club accounts and stuff.

My wife and I LOVED IT, although the shopping part was not the best and the guide obviously was working with the shop owner where she made sure we went. Honestly that was probably partly for our own protection though! A few years ago I went to a lot of trouble to research how to make traditional Jamaican jerk chicken but here they actually used real pimento wood and the flavor was even better than mine! The pitmaster was awesome and the view behind the barbecue was incredible! Beautiful grounds and history. The shopping part was VERY sketchy and I STRONGLY recommend that no one goes ANYWHERE in Jamaica outside official cruise ship endorsed excursions. Sounds like I'm being silly but trust me, it is scary. I had no idea.
Great to hear you enjoyed this excursion! Sounds like the food that's being prepared is still just as delicious as when we went. We do underscore your warning though, particularly since public safety in Jamaica has worsened at an alarming rate since the last time we were there. Crappiest "buffet" I have ever been to onboard a carnival ship. People-nice. Food was slop with no bagels and lox. Who serves powdered scrambled eggs these days? Miracle does!😪
The chat features is NOT AVAILABLE on the MSC Splendida when we cruised in march 2024 Make sure to enquire about it first Because if you miss the opportunity to add the internet package before boarding thinking you could at least chat to friends and family you will be disappointed Because on the ship itself it’s $29 usd a day for internet when you find out you can’t use the chat feature

My husband just came home from a cruise 12/30/23-1/6/2024. We loved this room for the window but, they never talked about how noisy it is………….during rough weather. This room rocks front back and side to side and noisy (meaning the room creaks like crazy. POW, POW on the walls.. My husband and i knew, because we are frequent cruiser to pack ear plugs just in case. Believe me, they were needed and appreciated lol. We do not get sea sick, but i fear for the ones who cannot handle the movement. It definitely goes up and down constantly during this time of year going to Mexico. Would we reserve this room, absolutely. Beautiful view.

Only the following all-inclusive beverage can be used in the Specialty Restaurants: • Easy Plus Package • Premium Extra Package Minors package can be consumed in specialty restaurants too if the minor's family/group purchased the Easy Plus or Premium Extra packages. This is copied and pasted from the MSC site. I have the Easy Plus drink package. Has anyone been able to get a drink with this one?
Just want to confirm, it doesn't charge any extra for the chat feature? Also, can I only chat with those in the same room? Right now, it's only letting me book one room at a time. My mother will also have a room, but it's a separate room and booking so will I be able to chat with her?
You can chat with anyone on the ship. The chat is free to use on the ship.( Only works on the ship) Have your travel agent list all cabins as traveling together so you will be seated at dinner together. I hope this helps!🍹
Hello, going soon on the Meraviglia, i downloaded the app but i dont have all the options you show on your movie. Maybe it will be available once on the ship? Also, i cruised many times on Carnival and NCL, how is MCS? I read soooo many bad reviews, i worry a bit. I live in Quebec Canada so MSC was a great option cuz i can drive to NYC and i had a really great price. 3124$ Canadian for 4 on a balcony. We leave on dec 30, New years celebrations on the ship! Yes, the options in the app you can't access now will be available once you're on board of the ship. In our personal experience, it's hit or miss with MSC. Some of our best and worst cruises have been with them. We hope your cruise will fall in the 'hit' category. Safe travels and have a great cruise!
Hello, so can the App be used offline to book restaurant and chat? We decide to not purchase the wifi package to save money and avoid surfing the Internet too much while traveling:) thank you
The app works on the ship without the purchase of WiFi. Remember to book your shows on the App when you are on the ship that way you will not miss any! Have a wonderful cruise! Have a drink for me!🍹
Starting put he's by the salvation army on e Pittsburgh St. I take my kids to St. Clair park. The library and the Y are my favorite spots to meet up with friends and family, but Lynch Field during the summer is amazing. I used to use the food boxes frequently. Cool video. Miss greensburg alot.

I agree, the cove is the way to go. It's amazing though how much seaweed is there when you went compared to when we went in 2014. You should check out my Jewel Paradise Cove video and see the comparison. Nice video though!
Thanks, Nathan! It's been a while since we were there, but it seems like the seaweed problem has grown in several spots in the Caribbean. Hopefully they will be able to find a way to deal with that.
Great information. thank you. I was wondering about booking the restaurants on the app as we wanted to book three. This frees us up from having to go from restaurant to restaurant to book the times we want. App looks very convenient. As soon as you board the options to book the restaurants will be available?
MSC does offer specialty dining packages. They are an excellent value and give you the opportunity to try several restaurants. You get the best price on those packages if you book before you travel. Just contact the agent you booked with and they can help you purchase the package!🍹
How soon can you see the cruise activities? We are 12 days out, and I wanted to start planning what we are going to do/start mg packing list. But I still can’t see anything…. Not even what nights are like the “fancy” dinner nights or theme nights.
