@thewholenewworld3998 I asked the front desk when we check in. Because for globalist, suite upgrades depends on availability. And the free upgrade only goes to standard suite. If the booking page have availability at that time maybe its thie higher tier of suite.
@@financialero yes correct. we are not entitled to have suite room upgrade. but they might proactively offer a regular suite room upgrade if it is still available at the moment of check-in. in other hyatt properties, i experienced that I showed them it is still available on the phone after I had just rejected to have an upgrade at check in. after then they gave us an upgrade. By the way, was there any one who checked your room number and how many people is entering into the club lounge for breakfast or evening cocktail? I am planing to have more than 3 adults staying in one room but i am just wondering if they are really strict about the number in terms of club lounge.
it did not work for me since i am pay check to pay check. what i did instead is put money to 401k to lower AGI. colleges and federal loan & grant covered my 4 kids COA (cost of attendance). 3 went to University of California & 1 went to Pomona College (COA 88.2K in 2023). colleges will force you to use college savings and student savings/income before giving financial aid.
I noticed they usually have huge lobby but no breakfast included as compare to other Hyatt. Glad we have globalist and we can just stay in the hotel for breakfast.

Man I missed out on this promotion. There was a good way to just book hotels at the Excalibur or Luxor during the week with little points and they also gave you 3k points back for double bookings. Woulda been worth booking and not even showing up lol
Yeah, a lot of people just do mattress run. Glad we have a lot of category 1 Hyatt in our place and we go different places each time. Hopefully next time you can catch the promotion. This is out first time to try Globalist and we are excited for our planned travels in the next 2 yrs.
