Husband & wife team who enjoys sharing our off road adventures thru photography and video. We like to take in the scenic views, see wild life and get away from the daily grind. You might see some Rock crawling, trail driving off the beaten path possibly even some overland. We travel In and around the great state of Idaho. We build our jeeps ourselves and love exploring trails with friends while also meeting new people. We like trying new products and will show those to you on occasion. We are sponsored by moose knuckle off road and Gravgrip. two great companies so check them out and If you are interested in their products we can supply you with a discount code. We currently have 3 jeeps. 74 CJ5 renegade, 06 TJ rubicon and a 18 JLU rubicon so you will see us switch between those rigs from time to time. Please like, subscribe, sit back relax and take in our antics and off-road adventures or even better “join us on our next adventure”. Thank you. Klint & Lisa Breeding Owyhee Off Road
We made a little bracket that goes on the bottom bolt of the grab handle on the A pillar. We had to go to the hardware store and find a longer metric bolt and spacer to attach it. It’s the perfect spot and angle for visibility .
My grandparents used to be year round caretakers for the ranch back in the 90s. PM me if you want to know anything about it. Spent a ton of time there growing up and it saddnes me to see the state it is in from your video. It used to be meticulously maintained year round.
I landed my small plane on the nearby peak, that oddly enough is comprised of pretty smooth gravel, unlike most of the rocky peaks in the area, just shy of 10 K I seem to recall. I know 4 wheelers (ATV's) access it, I just had 3.
Hey y’all. I’m new to Idaho area. I was wondering if you had any coordinates for some wheeling and rock crawling out in the Owyhee mountains? Figured I’d ask since your page is owyhee afventures
you are always welcome to reach out to us for runs or look up local clubs and do some runs with them. get to know the rules of our lands. On FB Owyhee off road, 4lo, Boise Idaho jeep, Idaho off road, Snake River off road, High desert off road. We look forward to seeing you out on the trails.
@@owyheeoffroadadventures8131 OK thank you. I don’t have Facebook but I have downloaded on X off-road. I found a few good trails out there. Thanks for your help.
My Grandfather, William E Sullivan was the 1st white boy born at Bayhorse on Dec 18, 1887. There were 2 white girls but no boys and mostly Indians, Chinese and single miners. My Great Grandfather ran a Pub while my Great Grandmother ran a boarding house. My Grandfather was run over by a run-away team (when he was 2) and there happened to be a priest travelling through that baptized him in his own blood (thinking that he would not live with amount of blood that he had lost from the wound in his head). When the run-away team ran over him the kin-pin struck him in the head. But he lived to take care of the Indian cemetery as well as the other cemeteries. He died in 1973 and then my uncle took over caring for the cemeteries until he died in 2000. Now you can't even find the Indian cemetery. And with the work that the BLM has done up there the road has changed somewhat. I still love it up there, it is just as beautiful as it ever was.
Just waiting on my Hike IT XS to come in… should be here soon. Was waiting for your second video. Can’t seem to find it on what you think of the controller. Any updates?
It’s great. Sorry the second video got lost so have to do it over. Truly impressed with the eco / 4x4 mode when in deep snow. It gives you so much control over your throttle.
I was initially pleased with it and am pleased with it when it works. Problem is that it starts to trigger errors which put the Jeep into 'limp home' mode which requires you to resync the controller. On my last go round with that, it just kept triggering errors so I've had it unhooked for several months now. I'm unsure whether I should try it again (completely unpredictable when it will go wonky...sometimes it happens as I'm pulling out of my driveway or the lot at work, other times it goes out while I'm driving down the road), get a different brand, or just forget about controllers all together.
@@sarneli_yyc It initially glitched a couple of months after I hooked it up even though I hadn't actually used it yet (had it turned off) but I didn't realize that it was the issue. It was fine for a while, then the glitching became more frequent, so I unhooked it to see if it was the problem & it was. I emailed support & they told me to resync it, which I did. Worked for maybe a month or so & started progressively getting worse again, resync & repeat. Finally on the last resync, it just kept going out almost constantly, so I unhooked it a few months ago & haven't hooked it back up. I liked it when it worked, but suddenly losing throttle just isn't safe.
