Thank you, glad you liked it! I've tried several different brands and types, it depends on so many factors. Therefor, I shouldn't recommend a specific one, I guess 😅
Hallo Matthias, Glückwunsch zum 5.Geburtstag! Wahnsinn wie die Zeit vergeht, hoffe bei Dir / Euch ist alles in Ordnung? Wie es aussieht laufen die Uhren ja ganz gut! Was machr das Titanarmband Projekt?
Hhmm, now there is a good idea, start my own watch company. Only problem is that I would just want to make 2 watches, an early Explorer with printed indices and a later Explorer with applied indices. Both 36mm cases, max 10mm thick, on-the-fly clasps AND (most importantly) VH31 Quartz movements.... 🤔 (and I do mean 2 watches!!! Both for me obviously. Don't think it is much of a business model somehow. I doubt Mr Tolex started with the intention of just having 2 watch made for himself...)
It's exactly what I started with: The idea to build a single watch, just for myself. And here I am now, with my own company, selling watches internationally. So you might end up with more than you aksed for 😋 All the best for your project!
Just wanted to say "THANK YOU" for your videos. Also, congrats on your 5 year success story. As an aspiring watch maker, these videos are very helpful as I'm trying to learn the good things about the art form and trade. I have everything mapped out, I just need to continue educating myself on the best way to make a luxury watch. I just learned about your brand and am going to add one to my collection. These are very nice pieces.
Thank you so much for your kind words! I wish you all the best for your watchmaker’s career! You can be sure that we will show more insights from our milling workshop and the watchmaking bench.
Awesome to see! Thinking about a venture of the same kind in the future but I’m not coming from this type of engineering background, but still, plenty of inspiration and motivation! Thank you 🙏🏻
Ich hab mich so sehr gefreut als du mit der Platte auf der Watchtime vor mir standest. Ich freue mich immernoch jedes mal wenn ich sie in unserem Wohnzimmer sehe.😍
Congratulations on your 5-year anniversary! Having taken several really close looks at your watches there is no doubt in my mind the past 5 years (and the years before starting the company) have been busy ones. The quality and originality is staggering! I really liked the personal approach to this video - like you said its not only about the watches but also the community and people surrounding you. You are a great example of this yourself🙌
Thank you so much for your kind words! This means a lot to us coming from you who always has an eye for the details and captures them with your camera in such an artsy way 😊
Brilliant video and live to hear about the background of your journey into watchmaking. Martin is fantastic and a great option for a partner in the US. Cheers on the first 5 years and to many more ahead! 🍻
What a great video. I wish for your team/family continues success. I also like the Salt Bae reference at around 12:20 ! You folks look like you are having a good time!
The bracelet is unfortunately not for sale. At least for now. Since so many people like to have it, we will come up with a solution soon. Please write us an email or via Insta dm.
Thank you very much for your appreciation of our work. It's always a pleasure for us when another craftsman joins the discussion. Carbide tooling is the way to go when machining titanium and diamond paste for polishing, of course. I can imagine that polishing tungsten is quite a challenging endever. Good luck with it!
As a base calibre we use a Top Premium Sellita, highly decorated, black ruthenated and with our own 18 carat Gold inhouse-rotor. It is skeletonized and 25% lighter than the original rotor to bring the light-weight concept into the movement.
Recently found your channel and the content and quality alike are top notch … can’t wait for the inevitable growth of your watch making and YT channel. I would like to comment tho.. not sure if it’s because your channel is relatively new but even if searching keiser design in YT .. your vids don’t come up, some optimization of that would help new ppl find you guys … again, great work .. keep it up and look forward to seeing more !
