This product is BS!!! I failed emissions so I used it. I followed the instructions exactly. Still failed. It didn't lower anything at all! The numbers were the exact same. I contacted the company for my 200% money back. They asked me for a number on the box and then I never heard from them again. No money back. F them and their POS non working product.
Would be interesting to see one of these videos where the electrolyte level is checked when the battery is new so that there is a good reference point from where the manufacturer fills it. Have a 4 plus year old battery that I checked last night with the multimeter and read 12.22 volts, which is pretty close to being considered dead according to what I have read. Added not much more than a tablespoon or so total of distilled water to the battery and instantly went to 12.47 volts. No clue on if the amp capacity has been degraded but hopefully added some additional life to the battery. Will see...
@@tractorgt it might. If the cat is too bad it will need to be replaced. Another good cleaner is lacquer thinner mixed with the gas. You want to fill your tank half way and then add one gallon of thinner.
I’m wondering if a oil leak sealant its safe to work for a Chevy Cruze with VVT system on it. My car has a leak in the oil cooler, which causes a lot of smoke when the oil drips into the catalytic converter.
Great video, Extenders is really a cool idea to get your emissions done ☑️ but it must be removed just right before the SMOG center . Don’t drive too much after the extenders removed because ECU will throw the error again !
Thank you for this straight forward video. My car have trouble and stuttering / hesitation when i try to accelerating hard from 2nd gear. Feels like car have something holding it back and chokes . I take off my fuel filter and try to blow it and it do go through but hard and i compare the new one it blow straight through.
I just had my pump replaced and it still makes noise but only when accelerating and not turning the wheel. Could this still be trapped air? Or is the new pump defective?
@PhillipsVision thanks, I'll have to attempt to bleed it some more. I'm guessing the shop didn't realize this and thought it was good to go. I assume the air won't work itself out over time?
Does anyone make those baffles with a radiant heat barrier on the inside? That way you could get both a baffle and radiant heat protection at the same time.
Mines says low pressure fuel system pressure too low? Code P008A but do I replace the whole pump or just parts? To me it drives okay just idle high and take off slower than usual.
@@PhillipsVision no I was told replace the pump but I don’t have issues starting the vehicle. I feel like the mechanic just wants me to spend more money. I will try this option first though thank you.
My wife and I just completed a trip from the Dallas area to Crested Butte, Colorado. It is about 850 miles each way. About 2/3 of the way there, my check engine light came on. I noticed no difference in performance or gas mileage. I went to O'Reilly's in Gunnison and had it scanned and got the 0420 code. So I bought a can of Rislone Cat Cleaner since I used to use Rislone in my motor oil. I failed to read the instructions and just dumped the can in a full 30-gallon tank. After I got home, the light was still on. When I made the first trip after we got home. The light went out on the short return trip home. It is still and I am very happy. So it took almost 900 miles but it worked. Next time I will read the instructions. I plan on using this product as preventative maintenance.
@@PhillipsVision thank you! i ended up temporarily taking some metal strap and looping it around a solid part of the car’s chassis and tying it down. worked like a charm
Thank you i subscribed! Im going to try to replace mine this week, and needed the knowledge. I have a 2016 hyundai accent, so i think its the same engine, same company at least. Haha
I would not tighten those bolts all the way down until the car is on the ground with the tire on. When you drop that and it's tight you can really wear them out prematurely. (Pre load it before Tourqing it down)
