I think we are looking down the barrel of at least another couple decades of intense suffering. The system we participate in expects the future young people to pay off the debts associated with caring for and bankrolling the current retirees. This is why we need infinite immigrants in every country with declining birthrates. But those chickens will come home to roost when the new arrivals start saying that they also do not want to work and enjoy a slave-like existence to pay for people who have no relation to them. I am proud of the current generation of young people for catching onto the fact that all of modern society is a scam. Hearing that this phenomenon has spread across the world, even as far as china fills my heart with joy and hope that we will see some change in my lifetime.

Why would anyone in the US be extremely distressed about foreign wars? I'm not, and I live in Finland, which is literally bordering an aggressive Russia, which keeps threatening NATO with all kinds of shit all the time. I'm not distressed about climate change either, or economic collapse, or anything else, since as the video pointed out - what the hell can I do about all that? I try to live a decent life, and be responsible, but beyond that I'm not too concerned about the future. If I was, I'd be really anxious too. But I'm also significantly older that Gen Z, so I've learned that if you don't try to royally screw up, then you will land on your feet and I've also figured out that being rich and famous doesn't actually give anyone fulfilment, or validate anyone's life as been worth of living, that comes from something else completely, certainly not from external validation (especially from strangers).

The most happiest communities today lives in the most REMOTE PARTS OF THE WORLD. That's because they need each other because they're resource scarce. With smart phones people don't need to talk to each other. They get all the important information on their screens.
As a pilipino I understand this because my fist language I learn was English not Tagalog. I had a very hard time learning Tagalog and it was every hard as I grow up I learned it time after time after time. And this made me cry so much tears 😢

I was wondering whether I can apply to a music university. I have done all the Grades in piano performance in the trinity college of london and have recently done my ATCL diploma as well. If I am applying will this be enough?

Wow what a bunch of losers in the comments! After watching a video whose entire message is 'focus on the things that are under your control', you go to the comments to complain about more things that are not in their control. Let me put it this way - imagine we are animals, wolves living in the forrest, hunting for food, seeking shelter, trying to survive. You would be a wolf that lies down and complains that the rabbit population isn't what it used to be, it's so much harder to find food these days, so why even bother? I know I sound like a cringe linkedin boomer, I am in the matrix, 'the worker has fallen in love with the system that exploits them!' etc. The way I see it is that every organism, in order to survive, needs to learn about their environment, understand the relations in the variables, and use it to their own advantage. I am focusing on these things to try and make my life better. The things that make you feel hopeless, I see them too, but I am choosing not to dwell on these. Maybe you can try that, too?
I do hope that many Filipinos migrating in other countries will teach their kids to learn and use Filipino just like what happens in many Korean and Chinese families.
