Welcome to my RU-vid channel! I'm a martial arts instructor from Belgium. Since I'm a teenager, I have been training in different martial arts and combat sports. As you can see in my videos, I had the opportunity to train with some of world's best martial artists, instructors and fighters. Since 2001, I have been teaching in my school, the Jeet Academy, and giving seminars in different countries. My everyday goal is to be a complete martial artist, a good instructor and to be better than I was the day before. The purpose of this channel is to share my martial knowledge and my experiences. Many people inspired me, so anytime I can inspire someone, I feel happy. Train, teach, travel. That's my martial way!
A famosa tesoura da capoeira é o meu golpe preferido, depois do "S dobrado". Ela é proibida nas regras oficiais da IBJJF, mas pode ser usada sem restrições em casos de defesa pessoal na rua contra um agressor.
The feeling when non-native practitioners of Filipinos' martial arts are doing more than Filipinos themselves. In PH, rarely you'll see any FMA schools putting that much effort on the effectiveness of its empty hands aspect (unless you request for it). Always relying on "demos" which are ridiculous and unrealistic.
Thank you Sifu David for sharing your martial arts journey, c'est un parcours exceptionnel !!! it's just amazing seeing you with all those legends like Inosanto, GSP and even sparring with Khabib, quelle chance !! And this gives credit to what you teach ... Keep learning and keep sharing... Que la force soit avec toi
I like kali but I don't know kali. What I can see in this vid tho is that you are not training both sides equally. And/or you are not focusing on your weaknesses. Your dominant side is glaringly obvious. Now I'm not being critical here, just observing. Because that looks exactly how I do it. The difference being - I'm not an instructor...
I studied may Thai under someone who trained kali and silat. He blended the kali into our may thai. It really elevated our training above many other brutal neighbouring schools ( not an easy thing ). Also there was a senior student who had mastered kali techniques. Most of the time he left us scratching our heads wondering how we had just been defeated. He was not vicious in his techniques, he seemed to be enjoying himself most of the time. Cheers uploader, good solid technique here.
I m gonna try Sanda on Monday..on saturday i m gonna have my pankration s lesson.On thursday i ll try pentatukan,jkd kickboxing...which One u reccomend me most?
To be honest I love this. I did Judo, Aikido, Boxing, Tang Soo Do and Capoeira and wanted something that mixes strikes throws and kicks cohesively, and never realised Sanda is what I shybe doing.
Teknik silat olahraga ker ni? Kalau teknik silat olahraga, maka lebih hebatlah silat kerana banyak teknik2 bahaya dlm silat sebenar dilarang dlm silat olahraga..
To me, PANANTUKAN is the most brutal, yet beautiful "neverending choreography", my whole life i did martial arts, but now, with 54years, getting fat and lazy, i went to dojo across my house and was suprised to see them offering PANANTUKAN. Since then i'd practice 3 times a week and now I'm still gettin fat and older BUT also more brutal and beautiful. LOVE IT!!!
