Hey Drachir, do you have an email address we can use to contact you regarding your Massive Moore F-5 tornado video? I'd love to discuss a license to use it if possible! Cheers, Felix

Eventually you'll figure out how RU-vid works! By the way, this video was lifted from its original poster. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0LVMg6XNOB8.html

Eventually, I won't even care how RU-vid works. And if you read Richard Miller's post, he said I'm the one that took the video so there is that . I think it comical that you're replying to an eleven year old video

@@drachirvarmint3355 Nope, he never said " @drachirvarmint3355 " took the video. Asshole. Still an asshole after 11 years!

This is still one of my all time favorite videos of a tornado. The first time I watched it, it gave me chills. It was like death walking by, not even caring where he was going. The absolute power, and the absolute indifference to anything in its path is just awe inspiring.

Not a joke, do houses come equipped with storm safety bunkers or whatever they’re called?

Some houses have them...some don't. I live in OK and mine doesn't have one, nor a basement. It depends on the house

Still sad to watch this. Knowing everything that tornado touched was destroyed. A tornado in real life sounds like a train with a jet engine on full blast. A EF 4 or 5

This is excellent, an amazing video, and it took courage to take it! I think you were right on the edge but OK, winds clearly didn't get above 75 or so at your location.

As far as getting an idea what a violent tornado sounds like a mile away.... Best video.

It's just 3 days to the 10th anniversary of this thing. Very nice video with the sound being what I guess is that roar people are always talking about. I never hear it because the wind hitting the microphone is loud. But I can tell now that that roar is the wind hitting trees and buildings and the air being cut. Even if you're a mile away it can still be heard. I always thought the roar was more like a growl. "Twister" must have done that. You can also hear a roar from a hail storm in a city from a mile away because of so many stones crashing into the ground.

A quarter mile or more away and still getting 60 mph or more boundary winds. That's amazing. I can't imagine the terror those directly in the path of that monster felt. Terribly sad, even all these years later.

I'd like to know, at what point is it in the tornadoes cycle. Is it early, in the middle, late. It doesn't seem to be at its widest point.

On one hand I think how lucky you must be that the tornado didn’t change direction and come at you. But on the other hand, your balls clearly would have firmly anchored you to the ground.
