Thank you for your video series. I have learned a lot. I intuitively understand two separate ideas. First, that a gaussian filtering is just one type of low pass filter applied to the fourier domain, that does not produce the ringing effect observed by a harsh circular cutoff. And second, that applying a filter to the fourier domain is more computationally efficient than the 2d convolution performed in the spatial domain. But we can also apply a gaussian filter in the spatial domain, using different kernel sizes, by 2d convolution. Could you explain what change in kernel size in the spatial domain looks like in the fourier domain? Is there some conversion between the gaussian filter used in spatial domain vs the fourier domain?
I want to just DRAG/DRAW a lockscreen type connecting grid straight lines to make a L, 7, T etc to connect dots but there is very little info except how to make Paint pot random lines not straight directional <> etc.... Any help is appreciated:::Details:: I want to simply draw a straight line in only -+X, or -+Y or only heading -+90 range, -+180 such as when you have a lock screen and you want to start on random dot grid and then draw straight up, or down then left or right to connect the dots, is there a simple way? I've tried multiple methods and can't find tutorial on drawing straight lines limited to Horiz, or vertical out there. Luckily I got more info from your video on at least how to draw a square and I can probably make it into a skinny rectangle to be a line, but any help on my simple question of how to draw a straight lines to make a L, 7, T
I need to separate two spirals in scanned image using matlab. Issue is that one spiral is regular but other one is tremor patient hand drawn spiral i.e shaky, irregular and noisy. Please help me how can I separate them
when I entered that command " af1=af.*c;" program said that : Error using .* Arrays have incompatible sizes for this operation. How I can solve that problem?
Your videos are so very well structured that the result is a fantastic flow toward comprehension. Well done, I believe you are helping everyone who finds your amazing videos. Thank you very much..... 🙂
Dear Dr., I'm working on selection best pixels ( best fit one for specific purpos )among three images of the same scene, how can I apply this in image processing? Is optimization algorithms can give me the result? and how? Thanks
