I also build my business of soy candles in cement jars! Just wanted to say thanks for your hard work and dedication, it is very appreciated! Also that you are super beautiful :) Keep rockin'!
Hi, these came with the molds. I purchased them at The Modern Craft Lab. Not every mold brings a support, however, I do find it practical since concrete expands during the drying process. The additional support helps maintain a consistent shape.
Hi!!! I do write the info in English 😊 maybe you need to adjust language settings on you tube... just a thought. Let me know what you need and I can respond here :)
Hello,.. and let me say that your creations are so neat and beautiful, ...are this pieces good for salad dish or like a sugar container?? or can you use it to drink a cup of coffe ( for example??) Thank you!
I would recommend additional dealing to use as a dishware. I have never tried it so I'm not able to provide a recommendation but I'm sure there is a special sealant that should be use for this purposes.
Hi. I am from India and this sealer isn't available. Can I use any regular transparent varnish for the coating or lacquer should be used. I am confused for both
Hi Tamaya, try reducing the amount of water your are using. Another indicator of excess water may be in the sturdiness of the final product. If the amount is not an issue, I would suggest mixing a little longer. Let me know if any of these works.
Hi friend, I typically wait 24 -48 hours to allow it to solidify. Also, consider your weather. I'm in miami, it's HOT, so my vessels dry faster. I've notice when it's cold it usually takes a little longer to set.
🤣 sorry, I have a video where I show this step. The gold is added to the silicon mold. You can also mix it into the cement mix with the mica powder... but for best results add on mold.
Could you give me some advice? I’ve began making tester jars and I made a brown slightly darker than yours and it isn’t as smooth. The it has a ashy tint to it . Also, I just demoulded another one this morning and the color is darker in some areas. When mixing my pigment, cement and sand I make sure to mix dry first and then to a pancake consistency when adding the water. I’m losing my crap 🥹
hi I am watching your videos very much, and while watching your videos I also wanted to make candles, I make candle holders and put jasmine scented wax on them, but unfortunately it goes out after a while, the candle holder I made Below is a photo, do you know the reason?
It can be a few things. 1. Is the scent normally used for candles? If you're using pure essential oil, it may require a concentrated oil. 2. How much fragrance oil are you adding. Check with your supplier for recommended FO amount based on the type of wax used.
Could you tell us where you got the moulds that you use in the video please? They are lovely, and I am wanting something with support while they are drying.
@@ksentials4442 Hi, there. The final result looks so smooth. I never seen a cement piece look like that. And I have seen a lot videos like yours. What do you think is the key for that? Thanks.
