that’s hilarious, the locksmiths i see have a hatchback toyota and your basic lockout kit. you may need all that eventually but 90% of jobs you won’t need any of that unless you’re doing residential

I’ve been fortunate enough to upsell my customers 70K German Shepherds with each lock job I do. For example: my last job was a $500.00 Jeep key fob replacement. I convinced the customer he needed a 70K German Shepherd to keep watch over his new key. Nice! Just kidding!
Anyone have problems like this except with SFIC on Cylindrical (lever style) handles. There is no cam to tighten up then. Sometimes core comes out nearly 1/8".
my current closer is causing it to be very hard to open the door. I get a lot of complaints from customers. in theory could i loosen up, soften up the main spring to make the door easier "lighter" to open? could you demonstrate some of the options of that spring adjustment? could you also link to that opener product? seems to have more options than your typical closer. Oh my god, dude! I was fighting my stupid stuck key for several minutes, cursing up a storm and stomping my feet. Inside of two seconds I freed the key thank to your clip. I’d upvote you 10x over if I could! Thank you!
Only the 1 2 and 3 stopped beeping; the rest of the numbers beep fine does that mean the keypad has failed? I still have the physical key so I’m not in dire straits but I’d like the keypad back if it’s salvageable
I can get in using the Key. I will try getting a new Dura Cell Battery and see if that helps . It has been a few days since I opened the safe so when I punched in the code I notice none of the numbers/letters were beeping. So I felt the battery was dead. Went to town and got a new battery but not a dura cell as this small town did not have one.. Put new energizer mx battery in and same thing Only the # sound will beep. This is a Sentinel brand 24 gun safe.. I had used an energizer battery before and it worked for about 4 months then this. How much trouble is it to change the key pad if it went bad....
If you’ve entered the wrong code a few times it may be on a 5min time out….. so wait 5-10min then try again. Otherwise the keypad is defective and it’s time to call a locksmith.
Not sure if u still read these. U said marine battery to fully drain and recharge, what about a golf cart battery? Both still 12 volts, it'd save space and cost less and still run just as long instead if a long heavy boat battery? Many thanks for making this, very curious how it all worked. 🤘😎🔥
