Only by grace can we gain victory and free ourselves from Satan's influence. Almighty God, I invoke Your presence, so that Your Spirit alone will guide me and protect me from all the temptations that the evil spirit sets for me. Be with me when I am tempted to sin or abandon the path of righteousness. Do not leave me alone! Lord, You know that without You I can do nothing. For in You I live, move and have my being. Without You I fall into sin and perish. Strengthen me with your silent presence. Free me from all evil desires and thoughts that lead to sin and provoke temptation. Give me the strength to overcome difficulties, so that I can believe that Your grace is enough for me. Take away the action of the evil spirit and do not let him return to me. Don't let him become my companion. I don't want anything to do with him. Purify my heart and fill it with Your mercy.
