Random thought- to give yourself a little more choice, what if you could move either way on the board? Right or left then you could choose the color prompt you wanted to pick!
trying to keep up and read some of your books. will keep you posted of what 3 books I have read. should take about 2 weeks. I don't have as much time as you, so I can only cover HALF of the books to read.
I expected to love Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow and it just let me down so much I think the hype really got to it. I hope you enjoy it. I have way of kings but it intimidates me so much so I've not read it yet aha
this is a great way to get book reccommendations to read for my new list and to find out what the books are about [ when you give a brief book cover introduction what the book is about ]
The Wolf in the Whale went immediately onto my wishlist. It sounds amazing. I just found the Six of Crows Duology at a used bookstore. I am reading Ruin and Rising in June, then I am hoping I can pick up Six of Crows in July or August. I hope your reads go well. Have a great month.
Enjoy way of kings! As you say it might be best to focus on reading just book 1 first as it is quite a slow/detailed read. I wouldn't leave a large gap though between book 1 and 2 as easy to forget a lot of the details.
I love your pencil case concept. I have found that as long as my reading taste hasn't massively drifted, I enjoy the TBR veterans as much as I do new books I have bought. This is helping me read all those older books! I haven't read six of crows but enjoy!
What are the chances of rolling all those double sixes? 😅 I read The Truth a few months ago and it's now my favourite Discworld book apart from The Watch series (granted I have not read all the Discworld yet lol)
Fathomfolk mostly takes place above water. It still has underwater scenes, though, so since you're not trying to get hard mode it will still count for the square!
Have you read any books by Mercedes Lackey? She's very prolific - her books would fit many of the prompts on this bingo card if you are looking for something! She has books about bards (a whole series in fact), books published in the 90s (and is still publishing currently), and a lot of the others.
7 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle was AMAZING! Do give it at least 100-150 pages before you DNF because the beginning is (intentionally) very confusing. The conclusion was 🤯
I'm happy to see another person who has enjoyed The Hexologists! I'm looking forward to the next book in the series too! Bancroft laid the groundwork for such a rich world and magic system and I can't wait to explore more of it.
Seeing your excitement about the new board had me smiling so much! I love this! I also absolutely loved Dead Silence, I can't wait to hear what you think of it!
Dead Silence has been on my wishlist forever! I really hope I can pick it up soon. I originally listened to Priory. When I reread it physically, I broke it down onto sections to read each day, which really helped. I hope your reads go well.
I really want to read The Tainted Cup sometime soon, it sounds amazing!! I need to get back to Nettle and Bone, I put it down a while back but I think I would love it now. Oh and I’ll be curious to hear what you’ll think of The Wishing Game! So many people have loved it but I DNF’ed it 😬😆
I had similar feelings about In the Lives of Puppets! I LOVED the first like 150 pages with all of the banter and the precious lil baby bean that is Rambo, but I felt like the romance didn't do much for me. I felt like there was so much potential with their dynamic but they didn't have much chemistry for me!
