How is the wind coming off the gulf in January? I've thought about heading to 30a in January just for a change of pace. I would like to spend at least one day sitting at the beach watching the waves roll if it is tolerable
It can honestly be a lot colder than most people think in January here. But the water is usually BEAUTIFUL and so clear. So, if you can bundle up and head out you can still soak in some beautiful views. Sometimes the winter can be more mild but you just never know what’s in store with crazy FL weather. 😊
It’s so good to hear we’re not the only ones. In an ideal world, it’s great to “feel like” you live on vacation but in reality it just makes things sooo much harder when you have to travel out of town just for basic things. THAT on topic of traffic just really makes day to day life tricky. So, we’re excited to get back to some every day conveniences and see some new to us areas. Best of luck on your move!! I am happy for you, but sad for us. We bought e-bikes because of your e-bike adventures. We originally found you because we are thinking of moving to 30a one day- but we heard about the beach territory wars so now we are not so sure. Since you guys love to e-bike, you may want to check out Sarasota. There is a RU-vidr called e-bike reviews & adventures and Richard goes on lots of cool rides- He actually lives in Parrish nearby but rides all through Sarasota too. The beaches there are wide and beautiful with the white sand. We will miss your 30a adventures and your sweet spirit but will hope to see where you land. God’s blessings go with you.
Oh I’m so happy to hear you guys joined the e-bike fun. Truly we don’t regret a single second of our e-bike fun. What kind did you guys end up with? Hope you love them! We’ll absolutely check out Sarasota! I’ve heard that’s a great spot! Yes - you’re absolutely right with the beach territory being an issue. 30A used to be soooo welcoming and the whole feeling has completely changed since they’ve started enforcing these laws and rules. It just makes us sad to see that they’re limiting everyone from seeing and experiencing such a beautiful place. 😕 No one wants to feel unwelcome and uncomfortable just because you don’t own a beach front property. While there’s still a few places left that are holding on strong, (Grayton specificially) it does have a whole different feel than it used to. But, maybe they’ll change their tune once they realize how much it’s pushing people away. Who knows! Thank you for watching and following along!! I am so saddened and so happy for you at the same time. I was just getting used to seeing your videos and love all the adventures. My wife and I (Jeff & Jamie) have lived on 30a before and moved back to Georgia for a few years to be near my mother. Once she had passed, we bought our next condo at The Pointe on 30a and can't wait to call it home in the next year or so. We were hoping we would run into you & Nick as we have a lot of the same interest in common. I know you will find your next adventure wherever your heart leads you which is the way it is supposed to be. In fact, they say you don't always know what's you'll miss till you lose it. This was the case for us. We found 30a to be the southern part of Florida (by demographics, not topographics) and we wanted to feel as native as possible. Most of our friends in Georgia visit the beach there so we know we will continue seeing them as much or more than we used to. The panhandle seemed to have just enough seasonal change to make it the goldilocks zone in my opinion. My wife Jamie is from Savannah and she has said she will always be a "coastal girl" and that 30a would hopefully be the last stop on our journey. Only time will tell, but we will definitely continue following your videos to see other opportunities open for you guys. I had a close friend who I helped move to & discover 30a and then he moved to the Keys for a couple of years. Now he is back and we both can't wait to reunite. Maybe this will be your fate too!! For now, enjoy checking out St. Pete. I'm sure at your age, you will have plenty of time to see where it works best for you. Take care!

We actually feel like anywhere from Pensacola to Mexico Beach - the water truly can’t be beat. It’s so beautiful and clear and this summer the June grass is barely there so far. 🙌🏻 Hope you have an amazing trip!!
Hi there! So, he bought the light from Wal-mart and then he actually just built a bracket piece to hold it in place. It has some of the parts of the original light that the bike came with. So, basically he just rigged it up so it would hold the bigger light. It works great! He just wishes he would’ve filmed how he did it!

i remember when this happened so i was with my mom at my friends house.my mom stayed at my friends house when she comes to visit me. we stayed the night there. 5:27 am:a tornado warning was issued.the first wave was starting.took about 2 hours to finish.the second wave came and it was even harder than the first one.the marina was already destroyed during hurricane michal,but it is now destroyed again.the house on thomas drive was tipped over.luckily im still here and im very blessed to be breathing right now,hope we recover soon

It was actually right on the walking path across from the Hilton Hotel. We just grabbed coffee and went for a walk right by our hotel and found it. It was so cute!! 😊
