The cause of the stall has been established as dragging brakes on the stock, possibly caused by vegetation striking a butterfly valve on one of the coaches

It was for both the A1 and A2, I believe significant work was done during the design stage of Tornado to try and improve the ride so she could run at 100mph without throwing the crew around the cab, something a few of the original A1s were known to do!
