@@RockCityMusic777 thank you. I used a 50 watt Runt Friedman Amp with a CaptorX power soak. I also used a micro pog pedal and a reverb pedal during the solo. I dialed in the sound using the captorx cab simulator app. Hope this helps. Thank you again.
Ladder bracing tends to be drier and brighter and with a tighter bass. They actually lend themselves to recording well because they lack that booming bass that can be frustrating to mix with other instruments. Django Reinhardt's guitar was ladder braced and it has a bit of that sound as well.
Excellent on the solo and the outro licks(nailed them) Could have played the rhythm parts a little more energetically. The cords were right.... very good over all. thank you for video Rather see somebody play their instrument correctly than hold up a new piece of gear and not be able to play it at all.
Thank you. I was only using my amp (Friedman Runt) through a two notes captor x (power soak). I used the cab simulator for the captor x in the app. Just dialed into what I thought sounded the most like it. No effects. The mini humbuckers in my Firebird helped too. Thanks again.
The x braced has a much more even tone to my ear, it sounds more ' expensive ', but the original has its own thing. If i had one I'd leave it as it is.
