Me and another driver you communicated with is here in orientation. I won’t be leasing because they’re out of Volvo’s so I’m going company. I don’t trust an old Cascadia with 400 plus miles on it to be paying out on repairs. But so far I like what Taylor is talking about. Thx buddy!
@@tjmax377 yes. I average 3000+ miles. You have plenty of time to make your deliveries. Your DM will get a feel for how you run and set appointments accordingly. The trucks do come equipped with TVs and refrigerators along with inverters.
@@tjmax377 Awesome man! Thanks and good luck. Keep me posted on your progress. In the meantime you can connect with me via email at muzikmasta.js@gmail.com
@@tjmax377 They assign you a dispatcher and you coordinate your favorable routes with them. You can take toll roads, free Samsara ELD. They do a good job at getting you home when you need to get there. For more info, give Shannon a call at (507) 649-3329. Thanks for the comment.
This is the worst company in the dam industry like I mean absolutely trash, if you go here you’re gonna regret in less that 2 weeks I promise you on everything I love. You can run as hard as possible and you will still end up with a check under 1 grand do not go there, if you see the reviews actually pay attention because that company if complete garbage I can walk more miles than you’ll get a week with this company, if you have a family you’ll be doing 34 hour resets twice a week in your truck instead of being home with your family cause they can’t find you a load and most of their loads are live load. You can make what you’ll make her e at a fuckin local grocery store
@@earlwoods6569 the starting pay varies. Call Shannon, the recruiter for more info. The miles are good if you want to run. You can work with your recruiter on where and how you want to run as a company driver.
Isn't most new trucks automatic now? I'm about to sign up with Prime 3 days orientation 4 weeks on the road with a trainer, and u receive $200 a week for food ..multiply 200 × 4 =800 ,,this is a loan you have to pay back after obtaining your cdl license in which $25 a week would be taken out your check until you pay off the $800.00 ... well. After 4 weeks, you come back and take your road test. If you pass on your first try, you get $250.00 you than go back out with a trainer to get 50.000 miles in which at that time you guaranteed $900.00 a week minus the $25 a week to pay off the $800.00 loan..by the way your room board and meals is covered while in orientation
@@stephontaylor4178 yes. Most trucks are autos but some companies will not hire you with the auto restrictions. Plus you don’t want any restrictions even if you are driving an auto. And yes, I’ve heard that prime will take good care of you. Good luck and best wishes!
I already told Shannon how I came in contact through google search even though I used to work with Trans X ( crooks) and they had a drop trailer section they rent out to Taylor.

@@user-xl2if6uo2q awesome! Good luck! If you would like to, use my referral code “SCOJO” or tell your recruiter that Jokomis Scott sent you. Thank you for the comment!
A little bit of church never hurts anyone right 😂 I’m with Taylor also, just dropped in Ecru Ms… trying to get to Louisiana for home time, but looks like gonna be late 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
@@talltrucker2682 Mann, I have to get some church working in this industry lol I’m in Cedar Rapids on my 34 trying to work my way home to Mississippi. Is Taylor treating you well?
@@tjmax377 Yes. You get really good miles over here If you like to run, they will keep you moving because yes they do have a lot of customer/contract freight. They will let you run however you choose. Whether it’s day or night.
Otr companies have gone down hill and its gotten worse just look at the age group theres hardly anyone under the age of 35 thats driving for more than 2 years before they throw the truck key away
Haha I lasted 3 months. Money was good 1 week in a month. Dispatchers don't communicate cause there told they dont have to. The young vice president is a joke but gets his check and plays with his women
I worked very briefly for this organization. During the orientation, they made it clear that their rating is poor and their accident rate is high. I felt concerned. I was assigned a trainer. He's a nice guy but spends the greater part of his time on video calls with girls while driving. I felt so unsafe because he drifts out of lane and at times drives over the speed limit. There was reckless violation of traffic rules. This is supposed to be my trainer. Some of his directives were not thought through. He even insisted I do Pre trip inspection for 7 minutes. I protested. That cannot be done in 7 minutes. He said he's the trainer, that I am not. I must do as told. At this point I reached out to the trainer manager privately to let her know what was going on. Rather than listen to me, she was actively defending her driver. She said it's okay for him to be on video call while hauling 80,000 LBS weight truck on the highway as long as he's hands free. This is the most insane thing I have heard anyone who is supposed to make safety a first priority say. I have a video of this driver on a video call behind the wheel. This is just one out of many. I will not recommend this business if you are safety conscious. It won't be long before you have points on your driving record since they are cool with their drivers making video calls while driving.

@@mcseagate wow! Sorry to hear about your bad experience. This company definitely has some work ahead of them in order to improve their business. But I must say that they do have the potential to be a good company, they just need to make some changes. Best wishes
Hi there, Thank you for sharing your detailed review of HMD Trucking Company. Your insights on dispatch communication, maintenance issues, pay discrepancies, and load assignments are incredibly valuable. It's feedback like yours that helps others make informed decisions. I appreciate your honesty and taking the time to share your experiences. Wishing you all the best on the road ahead!
@@DreG74101 I don’t really know the local drivers and their pay. You can reach out to Shannon in recruiting and she will answer all of your questions brother.
@@artisdevelopment3561 Taylor would be a good choice. There is definitely high earning potential here with the right dispatch and willingness to drive hard. The top take home pay for most company drivers average around $1700 but it all depends on how you want to run.
I think so. I see several owner ops pulling our trailers so I would assume so. But I will definitely check to be sure and tag back in on this post my brother.
@@anthonyfelton3752 No problem. Yes they do hire owner operators. They will allow you to run under their authority or your own. Contact a recruiter for details…ask for Shannon
No im not LP. But I’m definitely considering going over. They mostly have Volvos for lease right now but they also lease freightliners when they’re available.
I do pretty good as a company driver. I stay out two weeks and average 3200 miles and gross around $1900 a week. (I have proof/settlements if you would like to see them) But of course this all depends on how you like to run.
I'm sorry boss but this Wasn't a good interview lol im not gonna Talk about his bereavement cuz that's personal. But he got way too many excuses that didn't make Sense for leaving them.
No need to apologize to me. This was not MY thoughts or intentions. Just a driver who was frustrated. He had specific details that he wanted to share. It was not my place to pump and prime him to discuss any other details. Perception is reality and that was HIS perception. Thanks for the comment and concerns.
My review is the most liked and helpful on them on google maps. Dont believe me go check! I would say dont go work there "communicating is very important" yeah overseas dispatch calls you directly but if i have to call them you call the company number and type in your dispatchers extension 🙄 one time i told him "ayeee let me get your direct number i con contact you faster" this guy said "you want to make international(he's in Lithuania) calls? it will be very expensive for you" and laughing. Then i said it dont batter i got international and unlimited plan which i actually do lol then he told me his number was the main number and ext number. Hung up on his ass. Theyre trash!!!
Super easy road test and a simple back between two trailers in a huge lot. It is an American family oriented company where everyone is really nice and easy going.
lol if u wan do a real interview with somebody that actually lno sumn bout tha industry. ill do one and ill email pay stubs for proof. this dude lokey slow, he gon b one them dudes that never make it out here tbh.
that was tha best company i ever worked for i ran flatbed for em im 10 months i litteraly was able to pay my bills n save 20 bands to put down on my own trucc. n why u sayn taylor trucc lines n not hmd? lol aint this an hmd video?
@@juicemna1 they did buut i was told i could cover em up. they aint bother me bout shit. im pretty sure it jus comes down to like being a driver that puts money on tha trucc...if ur lazy im sure they would bother u...idk ive been gone over a year n a half now
Another good company to check out is jnj express. They run you hard and you get 48 hours off every weekend. No cameras in the cab, laid-back dispatch. They are based in Memphis as well. They take good care of their equipment, safety is real fair, have per diem, and 401k.
Much respect ✊ 💯 to all you trucker's out there man my older sister and her boyfriend are both truck driver's she drives for Swift trucking actually out here in Washington State and she loves her job she's makes good money even loves the company she works for and her boss to and im like damn i don't know many people can say that especially me.😂
