Very useful, thanks. Can you please tell me how many clips you can put in a timeline. Have previously edited with different equipment and put a year's worth of family film on one project, so potentially hundreds of clips. Also, can you see audio (speech) at the same time as the action, ie. you can trim according to when a word is spoken and before the next one comes. If you can only see action, sometimes you could potentially interrupt a sentence and don't want to do that. Thanks!
Thanks for the update. I've been using it since it was owned by Ulead back in 2005? I'm running X9 and was considering upgrading and was wondering when I saw 2023 and no 2024. I don't like the subscription models and Premier Pro is no joke to learn and overkill for small content creators. Leaning towards getting a mac mini and moving to Final Cut or purchase 2023 VideoStudio and run it for a few more years.
Wow, this excellent feature explanation, thank you, and I think FlexClip is going to dominate all AI Cool Smart Tools market since tey have many AI tools for Video, Image, Text, Audio, and mix between them in one place, so well done FlexClip and they deserve real 5-tacos.

@@gripps2211 I don’t seem to have any real problems with it gripps, just the computer getting old. Thanks for your instruction over the years, it’s been really helpful.
hi, id like to make a family movie dvd from several clips. the clips are to be edited for length. not interested in audio file or anything. when i insert the dvd the opening screen must show the clips with its dedicated title or date, i can press play or select which clip i want the movie to begin playing from. clips are from i14 and 4k point and shoot. can this software do this? if you did a video for making dvd's like i require can you provide the link? thanks.
Your tutorials relative to Corel Video Studio Ultimate 2023 have been very informative. This program has lots to offer as you have said. However, I've had problems with this program burning my projects to DVD. It has been hit and miss even following the directions provided in the Corel Tutorials?? Any suggestions? Keep up the good works.
Your tutorials on Corel Video Studio Ultimate 2023 have always been truly informative. I have encountered problems with this program relative to burning to DVDs. It has been hit & miss even following the directions? Any suggestions would be welcomed.
Gripps, I use videostudio ultimate version 2023 and a few questions please: I recently added a music to the trackline and for an unknown reason it lost the sound. I must have silenced the track and have tried to restore it with no success. What can I do to restore the soundtrack sound?. Why hasn't Videostudio updated the software to 2024. Normally they update the software each beginning March of each year. I really enjoy your Videostudio ultimate. Lastly sometimes my track #1 leaves a white stripe but no video? Why is this periodically happening. My videos can be found at my website: Captain Tom Stapleton. Thank you!
Thank you for all of your Videostudio videos! I've been learning to use the software since I got it a bit ago and your tips have been very helpful. If I may ask a quick question about masks: I'm finding that when I create a simple mask--just to create my face in a circle on an overlay track, for example--the preview playback gets very choppy. Any thoughts on why that might be happening? I'm working with videos that are about half an hour long, but I'm using smart proxies.
@@gripps2211 I also felt like they didn't take it seriously. Many new versions would list features like color grading that have been offered for years.
Thank you for the information. I have been using VS for a few years and have been saving VERY regularly to minimise crash problems. This has become a habit. I don't do professional videos, therefore VS has sufficed, crashes and all. However, I may take a look at Da Vinci (Free) reviews to see what the general thoughts are. Best wishes......
I have been using Adobe premiere elements for the last few years now. I stopped using VSP because of the crashes. VSP was more powerful but buggy. Adobe is completely stable at least on my computer. Thanks for the update
I just got a new PC and my download link for VS 2021 Ultimate had expired. I emailed Corel Support, they quickly sent me a fresh link and I was back up and running in no time. I'm sticking with it, I know how to use it and it does what I need it to do. Thanks for all your videos, I still refer to them from time to time.
I'll stick with it for a while at least. Bugs and all. I think I may need to wipe it and reinstall it in order to get rid of some of those bugs but I'm not confident in doing that without deleting my current settings & templates etc.
@@gripps2211 Thanks Gripps, I'll do that. Does that clean-up tool remove all my custom features (templates, text effects etc) or are those saved somewhere? Is there an easy way of ensuring they're not lost? After some of your previous videos & comments I'm guessing some of these frustrating bugs will get sorted by a clean install. I know VS isn't perfect but I've enjoyed using it all these years and I'm in no mood to pay out more money for the pleasure of learning a whole new program. VS is kind of under my skin now! Also, I've learned SO much from you over the years and I don't want it to go to waste now.
I have been using it, and the studio version is a one time payment with the bonus of AI. The node concept takes some getting use to for sure, but many bodies on that.
Subs is just a way of earning more money from people. I have Corel Visual Studio 2023 and thanks to your tutorials Gripps, I have started a RU-vid channel which is now growing. I am still using Paintshop Pro 8.0 because I prefer it to the fancy newer versions, which I have, but for what I need the old version is quicker and easier to use.
It would be interesting to know if you are talking about Video Studio Ultimate or Pro. I have just been to the website and it seems that at least Ultimate has huge amounts of options and also AI capabilities? Bad costumer or technical service can be a huge problem, mostly when you are trying to deal with problems they create and should not be allowed! Crashing can be catastrophic, because you may have spent quite a few hours advancing your video and then you lose it all, I suppose? I bought Filmora a few months ago and actually, if it all worked it was great: not very expensive, never crashed, rendering hardly needed and very fast. Then I demanded my money back. They promise a lot but then sometimes do not deliver, awful technical service, they drove me to desperation, now trying to find something else, not on subscription and not mega expensive. Final Cut Pro did not work for my music videos, as it would regularly mess up the sync I need to keep perfect and no amount of time speaking to them helped that. Elements, the rendering was a nightmare! I would call myself an intermediate video editor.
No brainer -- Paint Shop Pro. What I do is I usually upgrade every 3rd year -- so much less expensive than Adobe -- if you are a "hobbyist" -- I highly recommend this program. Been using it for over 10 years.
Damn this video was awesome!! -- I learned a few things I didn't know. Honestly Corel should pay you to do videos for them. I just subscribed! Keep up the great work! Love Corel Studio -- I was trying to use DaVinci (it is an awesome program and ultra powerful) but for me DaVinci is a little too much -- Corel Studio is such a bargain (with some many things included) and is such a great program for "hobbyists" and "semi-professionals". What I like about it is so much included in the package -- to include multi-cam support which is awesome.
