Underrated Gem. Just grateful that Rassie trusted him allllllll this years when all of you naysayers were after Jesse's throat. Shame on you Bokke Fans. Rassie kept him in the team even during the times when your grandma could have played better rugby than Jesse, now you see the impact of Rassies vision. Shame on you.
Trust me if lrand were in final l dont think the champs were going to loose to them l didnt see the loosing a world cup final they were that good had answers for every question
Amazing vid, so glad to see some creativity and newer and less used clips featured, small details matter and I compliment you on your focus on them, only one little criticism I have that I think would make it better than it already is, maybe you could have ended the vid with a big moment for example his penalty against France in the quarterfinal, long distance kick in the final from the Savea Penalty or maybe his reaction when the final whistle went?
1 bronze out of 5 appearances in Olympics 20years. Who stays consistent at the epitome of peak fitness that long running 100 200 400 individual n relays
Let's not exaggerate. South Africa's success in the last WC 2023, the final, was due to chance. When you win by 1 point and the striker has a penalty shot from a favorable position, in the "last second" of the match, and misses it, it is called a hazard, a chance. The same in the quarter-finals with France. Only luck, chance, no great game strategy, of an extraordinary game of the South Africans.
1:20 A sight to warm the hearts of New Zealanders: Quade Cooper getting sat on his bum. 6:40 That dirty bastard, Kepu, tries to take McCaw's head off from behind with a swinging arm. Those morons who tried to put him off his game with cowardly cheap shots didn't read him very well at all. He might spend a few seconds reacting to their bullshit, after which it was on with the game because his commitment and concentration were total.
I always loved Percy, I may have been biased as a Kaapjie but his commitment, "always there support running", power through tackles and quite brilliant ball carrying at speed were wonderful to watch. And then his place kicking !!!! A really great South African player.
Your analyis is well intentioned but not being a South African you have used text book leadership language and its lacking as to the true reasons for his success You have ommitted a few Key things 1 It was his wise choise of coaching staff and in particular of Siya as the Captain This united the whole of SA every colour every Creed . This made the Boks play with a higher purpose The amour that makes them dig deepThe nation depends on ihem winning .Then he was authentic ,no bs and completely transparent Everone picked for the game on the bench or not picked toplay, fulfilled a role t omake the team better , best in the world You can be sure hes going out to win in 2027 again
