@@printadventure1 We're on the same path. I have been in this for about 18 months. I have sold a total of 53 books since March of 2023. Sold 7 this month. Not bad.
@@KidaniShawn Congrats! I hope you sell even more. I've made 2 sales since posting this video. It's discouraging sometimes but I'm reminded that there are others like us and that I should stay positive. I'm wondering if you ever tried Amazon Ads.
I am glad I found your channel and these A+ videos of yours. I have been procrastinating when it comes to making this content for my books but I know it will help and I should just get moving. Watching you design these makes me feel like maybe I am making it out to be harder than it is in my head and that I should just shut up and do it. Thanks! I am a new subscriber and hope great things to come for your channel and book business.
Firstly, thank you so much for the support. I'm glad that the videos are encouraging you to get started. A+ Content doesn't have to be complex to be effective. Also Amazon KDP allows you to make changes so if you don't like how it looks when it goes live you can always edit it. I know this firsthand.😂 Let me know if you need help.😊
@@rashdasalman3086 Mostly using Canva. I can't afford subscriptions like Book Bolt etc. but I always try to learn something new. I've used Inkscape here and there but I always end up in Canva for my finished product.
Great! How did you sold the rest of the books. Any social media marketing? If so , then can you share your strategy. I've sold 5 units in total from 15 months of publishing
@@rashdasalman3086 The rest were organic sales. I tried posting on TikTok and Instagram but without any success. I honestly lost hope trying to advertise that way. But I will try Amazon Ads again. Don't give up! I know how discouraging this journey can be...I've only sold 15 books and my most popular book is the one I almost didn't make. You just never know.🥴
Thanks for sharing your experience Demand and supply is really important especially when you are just starting out. I am looking at uploading my recently completed e-book on some money making strategies that have worked for me. I had been a bit sceptical about using Amazon but i think I would take these tips into consideration during my journey
@@thefinanceintel E-Books seem do well on Amazon KDP. There's a bit of troubleshooting involved in the uploading process so I haven't really dived into it yet. But I think it's worth trying. I hope it goes well for you.
They never said outrightly but I think it's because of the movie quotes. It could have been the cover as well. It's basically copyright violation but I was new and didn't read all the rules. Some people get away with this but my advice is don't take the risk.
I loved this video. Please continue sharing your journey, its the most genuine and honest one I've seen in a very long time. Not sure if you use amazon ads or RU-vid ads, if not then this might give your earnings a push. Blessings to you.
Thank you so much for your positive feedback. I literally spent $5 on Amazon Ads from which I made 1 sale and a profit of maybe $1😂. I still don't have the budget for ads but as soon as I do I will give it a try again. Never tried RU-vid ads.
@@Animalkvideoshorts I'd love to help if I can. I'm still learning and as you would have seen in the video I haven't gotten very far. What do you need help with?
@@ادواتيدويةوكهربائية Thank you. For deleting a project you need to close it. Go the the home page, click on the ellipsis (3 dots) on the side of it and select "move to trash" from the drop down menu.
@@ادواتيدويةوكهربائية For deleting the recent project. Close it. Go the home page. Click the three dots on the side and select "move to trash". I hope this helps.
It's affecting the entire image but if your black lines are bold enough like the ones in the video you will not have any issues. All the best with your project.😊
@@pritimahato1297 If you see copyright material after you have successfully uploaded the book and it is live on Amazon, then that's perfectly normal. It's Amazon's way of hindering others from copying your book.
I mentioned in the video that it's always a good idea to make changes where you can. Some elements don't allow for changes except to add a filter. Also, I was under the impression that as long as you're creating something new using Canva images and not trying to sell them as stand-alone images then it's fine. Correct me if I'm wrong. I'm open to learning more.
Please note that these campaigns could have been more expensive if I had gotten more clicks. I'm still new to Amazon ads but I'll be happy to answer any questions regarding my experience.
Don't listen to the grifters first off. Secondly look at some of the other books in your chosen niches and do a web search for them you will see that they are everywhere, running ads like mad ergo when they say they are banking 100k a year yeah that is gross, net is no where near that. I have some of what I feel, at least the latest books, is quality covers and engaging content but can't get the sales traction that I need to move the books. I have sold 7 books in a year. KDP is kabuki theatre I think, much like the make a million on YT videos... Best of luck and if it is therapeutic and you enjoy creating books by all means do not give up! it is free, it is an outlet and one of your books may find favor from the KDP gods..
Thanks for the encouragement and best of luck to you as well. I do enjoy the process and I think it's the only thing keeping me going. Since making this video I have made one sale so I'm at 4 right now.
