I knew that I'd eventually find more people that see past the surface-level comparison between Rusty and Pixy due to both of 'em using 'buddy', and straight to the real Rusty-Cipher analogy! Rusty's even wearing the colors that are *this* close to Cipher's. Props for making a thematic build and paintjob.
AC being AC with Mechs? Well the title gives it away for both sides. AC6: Fires of [Liberation/Rubicon]. Damn, now we need something involving Talisman/Garuda 1 because of that.
Ayre is the reason why Crimson is doing what he's doing and maybe she was the only thing that held him sane, now add the fact that he is fighting Iguazu, Iguazu is managing to piss Crimson off, his AC is about to break and knowing that the destiny of the whole galaxy is on his hands. No wonder he screamed like that...
@@iZar7 They actually were supposed to be I think. You were gonna fight them immediately after Presidia. Diplomat and Comic would get shot down over the course of the fight, Prez gets g-loc, and the mission rolls right into Kings.
Your journey ends here pilot. The skies belong to me; no where to hide, no where to run. Viper's got you in the pipe, five by five. Hear that ringing in your ears, son?
Iguazu also has a line referring to himself as a ghost and it triggers when you die fighting him, which is what gave me the inspiration to put that line in there.
I wish I could've dragged the fight a bit longer because it was so short I had to crop the song too, but I don't feel like making another one of Pixy vs Rusty, don't wanna look repetitive. I have been thinking about doing an Iguazu (ALLMIND) vs Crimson 1 since both are delusional and it'd fit perfectly.
Thanks for the kind words Carter, it means a lot :) If you are on PC the code should be S148UD7FW3J8 If not, the parts are as listed /// Units /// RF-025 Scudder or MA-J-200 RANSETSU-RF as Right Hand IA-C01W7: ML-REDSHIFT or IB-C03W2: WLT 101 as Left Hand BML-G2/P03MLT-06 as Right Shoulder IB-C03W1: WLT 011 as Secondary Left Hand weapon /// Frame parts /// (I used a modded .bin to not get overburdened and use all ALBA pieces, this should be a better build than shown in the video) EL-PH-00 ALBA as Head EL-PC-00 ALBA as Core EL-PA-00 ALBA or NACHTREIHER/46E (The Nachtreiher is the better option but y'know, fashion) IB-C03L: HAL 826 as Legs /// Inner parts /// BST-G2/P04 or ALULA/21E for Boosters (Used BST-G2) IB-C03F: WLT 001 or FCS-G2/P12SML for FCS (Used IB-C03F, the latter has better missile tracking) IB-C03G: NGI 000 (Coral) or VP-20D (Blue) or AG-T-005 (Normal/Orange) for Generator (Used NGI 000 for better fashion, not too sure it's the best option) /// Expansion /// Any works, I use terminal armor because I barely look at my health
Honestly, the recreation of the Morrigan's weaponry really makes this for me. Red energy beam, red energy slashes, machinegun fire and missiles. Thanks for that Zar.
I am glad you enjoyed it :D I still don't know if I should've used the other Coral sword since the charged attack has a better "Laser" (Which I entirely forgot about)
I love Armored Core 6, but the music in the game just doesn't hit right. It's great overall, it does It's job, but it doesn't at all hit as hard as it did in earlier titles. It was more grounded, more personal, when "remember" played in the White Glint fight it really got stuck in my memory. I think that style that they chose for fights like Ice Worm or Balteus work great, but fights against other people, should've been more in the style of previous games, that would've made them way more memorable and gave other pilots more personality
I understand that feeling, I waited for the game to throw a "Panther", "Cosmos", "Remember", "Mechanized Memories" or "Autobahn" at me but it never happened, thing is FromSoftware threw other songs of people that hit just as hard and are just as memorable. Getting to listen to "Contact with you" while fighting Balteus after you almost die to a coral surge and meeting Ayre while she puts all her faith on you winning was amazing, then getting to listen to it again when you choose to trust her again by saving the coral and Rubicon. Both versions of "Rough and Decent" and "Steel Haze" are incredible, both changing to something chaotic or epic as everything goes to a higher stake and both parties fighting for what they believe is right. "Steel Haze / Rusted Pride" not being Rusty's theme alone, but being the theme of the Savior of Rubicon as you listen to it when fighting against him AND when he's fighting alongside you in the Xylem. "Destroy the Ice Worm" makes you feel anxiety, the song shifting as you lose your allies, the shield being down and then everything turns silent just for it to reach climax each time Rusty hits the shot is beautiful. "The Man Who Passed The Torch" as you fight your father figure, the reason for you to be in Rubicon while the leitmottif of Rubicon as a whole being there for it to end with him understanding why you did it and saying how you "found a friend" hits hard. "Cries Of Coral" as you fight the last thing between you and burning the coral once and for all and completing Walter's wishes while having to fight someone who trusted you and hates having to fight you, then the Rubicon leitmottif hits again as Ayre tells you how she still believes and died believing in what you and her could have achieved together. "Allmind" as you fight the delusional man that is willing to ruin everything just to kill you even when you couldn't care less about him being a pushover, turning into a darker song as time passes and even changing itself entirely mutiple times. (Which is funnily enough, the closest one to older AC music) They might not be what I expected from an Armored Core soundtrack, but GODDAMN they're special in their own way and (most of the time) their execution being fitting to the situation you're currently in, while also being much more appropriate to the game's atmosphere.
@@iZar7 FromSoft truly has probably the best composers, and AC6 ost is great, I just Idunno Maybe it's just my selfish side that is upset, that I can't just shove entire ost of new AC into my playlist lol
Compared to Dark Souls 3, Bloodborne, Sekiro, and Elden Ring. Armored Core 6 music just isnt that good. I can’t remember a single song. Just that creepy music that plays during the Not-Queebely boss fight.
@@alexandrostheodorou8387 Musical taste is highly subjective, and what resonates with one person may not have the same effect on another. I loved every second of the songs the OST has to offer, I would argue that comparing it to any SoulsBorne is not fair since it is not the same at all, you're not the Chosen One or the Tarnished or the Wolf, you're just 621, the Tourist, the (un)lucky Gun 13, the merc that stole the callsign "Raven", no one expects you to become anything great at any time but everyone pays for you to satisfy their own dreams. There might not be a "The First Hunter" but there sure is a "Rusted Pride", there might not be a "Plin Plin Plon" but instead you get a "The man who passed the torch", there certainly isn't a "The Final Battle" but there are "Cries Of Coral", not a "Firelink Shrine" but "Hearing Things".
@@iZar7 I got all three endings on Armored Core 6. Im not even being subjective it just doesn’t hit me as good. I didnt even sekiro/elden ring i got thru half way on both games and gave up. I love armored core 6. Only thing i wish the boss fights were more pattern based like Souls Borne. Feels like the answer to every boss fight is “build a different mech bro.” Instead of pattern recognition. The music just don’t pop out to me.
