We didn’t spend much time on the island. While I managed to make sure we all wore sun block, I missed my own legs and ended up with quite a sunburn! Whoops.

We had a guide and an additional kayak with a person paddling for our camera crew. I believe you can rent a kayak without being on a tour, but this was our first time kayaking in the ocean and the first time my daughter was ever in a kayak so we were happy to have a guide!
What would I be missing on the base F3 if I get in apposition to the F-3S. I love the power coated frame on the F-3S. Does it have a sporty option that the regular F-3? Does it still have the sport option that the S model has?
When are you going? I am going next weekend and am deciding between the two myself. I think I will choose Santa Cruz and go back to Anacapa in the spring when the vegetation is green.
I grew up across the street from this park. We would play in the old hotel and the ranger would take us out on the lake in his boat. Many wonderful memories growing up there. I recall being around 6 or 7 when archaeologists were excavating an area to remove the remains of several native Americans that had been buried there.
Hmm. There may be a bus, but we just walked back to our campsite with our raft overhead. It was a trek, but nothing compared to the 7 mile hike we took today!!!!!
Maybe an hour long float? We put in and pulled out at the same place that the rental rafts go in. There are signs. The whole thing was pretty mellow, although a paddle or two would have been helpful!
That is a good tip for keeping the pantry moths in check. We have seen the same thing, the pantry moth eggs are already in the food when you buy it. Putting the food in a jar keeps the hatching larvae from spreading to other uncontaminated food. We also use large half gallon Mason jars and used spaghetti sauce jars to store food in.
Food grade diatomaceous earth and cinnamon both stop ants cold, without killing them. They both work reactively and proactively. I'm actually surprised these weren't mentioned before nonpractical and ineffective things like double sided tape and mint. Even Vaseline doesn't work as well as cinnamon and food grade diatomaceous earth. Cinnamon doesn't absorb water, so it's great outside around things like the bases of shepherd's hooks that have hummingbird feeder hanging on them.
