Founded in 2011, the Community Technical Assistance Center (CTAC) and later the Managed Care Technical Assistant Center (MCTAC) are a part of New York University’s McSilver Institute for Poverty Policy and Research.

CTAC and MCTAC are funded and supported by New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH) and Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS).

The centers work closely with OMH, OASAS and key strategic partners to provide training and technical assistance to all behavioral health agencies in New York State.

CTAC and MCTAC are led by Dr. Andrew F. Cleek, Dr. Lydia Franco (CTAC), and Mr. Boris Vilgorin (MCTAC) with a team comprised of researchers, clinical, administrative and business experts with decades of experience working in the field of behavioral health.
