Noel is full of shit. Two faced pompous liar. All the arrogancd and he doesnt sell shit. When potential buyers asking him questions he s not prepared. For all the cockiness and arrogance. He s a moron. Passive aggressive negative energy he brings
To clarify, Jim Peterson doesnt use his lumagen to do non linear stretch? I'm getting anamorphic screen and was considering the lumagen to get anamorphic for all content. I guess that's a no then? If he doesn't use it then i guess it's not good. I'll pass then as that was 50% of my reason to buy. So is envy Mad VR better as stretching?
I use Lumagen Pro with CinemaScope screen and it works wonders for automatic aspect ratio detection. More importantly (and actually main reason for the tech) is the video processing. This remains unsurpassed. At first I used to select everything in anamorphic but now I enjoy content in various ARs
NLS is a personal preference and can vary based on what’s being watched at the moment. Business often make product features that aren’t their favorite thing personally but which are desired by the market. Sounds like NLS is one of those.
Thank you so much for coming along to support me at Supercar Fest……really appreciate it, it’s always great to catch up and share our mutual love of Steinway Lyngdorf.
For this space and family, it’s the perfect choice given the limited ceiling height and screen position. Each project is governed by space, lifestyle and budget and for this one, the beanbag seats were comfortable and allowed perfect line of sight and audio performance.
i would pay for a reasonably priced ticket to a listening session with music of my choice. …wait, i have a business idea, lemme run it past my lawyer, be right back
Thank you so much for your feedback. It’s such a privilege to be able to speak directly with the inventors and pioneers of such technology and learn from their wisdom. 🙌🏽
Apologies, it was recorded “on the fly” using iPhone during a visit, no pro mic. Hopefully we will be showcasing more Steinway & Sons products with pro set-ups.
You need to go and listen with your selection of tracks, it’s always very subjective as to what people like listening to and a short video recorded on a phone simply won’t suffice to replicate the listening experience.
@@zebrahomecinema9021 Perhaps, but I still say you should try other music..I've got three different systems in one what I call a audio room.. all of them can produce sounds extremely close to a recording studio.. example one system is .. Marantz PM 8006 with Marantz CD player 6007.. I've got high end power cables recent purchase of Siltech 770 Anniversary speaker cables.. My speakers are 40yrs old ADS L780/2.. I play 98% Jazz if you heard that system you would think its either live or in a studio..I have separates too which can blow your mind!
Hi Sir. Greeting from Malaysia. I love this room, so neat and clean, especially with the installation of IW950. I'm very curious about crossover setting for IW950. The specs indicate 80hz for frequency response. What is the Hz actually set for all 3 front speakers?
Thank you for your kind feedback. It’s very much dependent on which subs you’re using, which digital room correction software you have and personal preference. Usually 80Hz to 120Hz is recommended.
@@zebrahomecinema9021 What about for this IW950 setup shown in this video? People always say crossover should be about 10hz above the lowest frequency response as declared by specs. For IW950, I assume it is 90Hz.
I’ve been rocking a pair of Klipsch K- Horns and another set of Klipsch Belles together for over 30 years , and I know that I have got my monies worth and have never heard anything worth the price difference that can beat them. Together they make a wonderful combination of a Speakers ! They still can bring goose bumps up ! You turn the old Marantz on which hasn’t been turned off for 6 months ? A 2325 I think 1975 it is so easy has plenty of crossover points and adjustments. I have added a Bluetooth connection for my phone so I can surf 🏄 my music in my chair and adjust the volume . It’s a Great combination. 90,000.00 a pair or each ? I have experimented and added Super Tweeters but the Marantz always sucks them up. Seems they can’t take much power. It’s 125 min. Per channel. They really improve with the Super tweeters. They rock just as they are. I just can’t see that much money for speakers and yes I use this old stereo more than my motorcycle ect . It probably the one thing I use constantly, so now at 65 I don’t turn it ever normally. I’ve always been told turning it off and on is the hardest on it. Guess it my forever system. I’ve only owned a few things that I have been satisfied with and actually Happy with and never cared about trading. This is it . Plus the Quality of the speakers and Marantz are just so hard to beat . I will have the Marantz re-capped some day . I ride a 1980 Honda Cb900c ten speed that my Son fixed up for me it’s 43 and runs great, I’m just impressed with all the old quality stuff . Those speakers are wonderful but I like the integrated amp Even More , all very impressive but priced just out of my league. Plus I have six grandchildren ! Celebrate Life !
As with any luxury experience, this is simply to raise awareness - we completely agree, if you’d like to actually enjoy these systems truly for what they are, go and listen!
Nice advertisement... But why should another high class system change AD/DA couple of times? Not needed. And only very cheep build speakers vibrate on the side. Over all, heard nothing unknown in the world of high end hifi, as you know for sure.
so the baffle is gold plated with 0.2 gram gold. wow, this surely justifies $90k price? i can buy 12 woofers 12 inch for $2400 and the slate baffles will cost me max $400. but yeah, its not about performance for the price. its just the logo ego and price
How do speakers “beat” one another? They need to be heard head to head in the same listening environment to compare. Then it’s personal preference. The Alsyvox appear well-designed from an engineering perspective but some people would suggest they look like towel radiators and wouldn’t be suitable for some.
The cabinet is a combination of aluminium and MDF with a traditional lacquering process that goes back almost 100 years. If they were gold or silver, I’m sure the price would be even greater and aesthetically perhaps not pleasing to most clients who purchase these?
Why do I see people putting the most important speaker so low to the ground pointing to the feet? I was told that the tweeters were supposed to be pointing at ear level.
This is always a compromise and very much dependent on the interior design aspects of the room, similar reason for using in-ceiling speakers for LCR where clients can’t have them in the front wall for whatever reason. One of the advantages of using M&K speakers is that the dispersion is wide so we get the impression that the voices are emitted from the screen.
These are beautiful and extremely high end speakers. I'd love to own a pair if I could afford them. It is however a little bit annoying saying they play cleaner or are "much more powerful" than ANY other hifi speakers over and over again. There's a whole world of high end brands that make speakers at this level and also above this level.
This is Rob’s opinion and his personal experience. I would suggest everyone needs to have their own experiences and journeys to come to their personal conclusions. 🙏🏽
