I have a question, regarding the trigger cables, we have on the back of the K1 2 right and left signal trigger, and on the camera there is a trigger cable also, do we have to connect both sides? Or the ones on the back of the K1 are enough to run the system fine? Thank you and have a good day ahead
Thanks for sharing this information. I purchased the K1 360 camera package from CaRobotor directly. I installed it but left the batman rear camera connected as well (so I have two rear cameras). I have a few questions that I hope you can help me with: How do you get to the 'calibration' menu? Have you purchased and installed the new 360 camera package the CaRobotor is offering now? Are you on WhatsAPP?
i no longer have the vehicle close, but when i do, ill update this thread with calibration menu. i purchased some cheap cameras to test out. but the quality wasnt great. i just purchased the carobotor ones, and will test. how is your video quality? on the batman, i realized, i could only have either the batman, or the rear cam, never both. hows your experience?

I planning to purchase a set of this K1 and Jpro for my Jeep but from the Canada website all product is suitable for left driver seat not for right driver seat. But u are the onli one I saw installing on right driver seat Jeep. May I know where u bought it?
The K1 is meant for LHD. Doesnt mean you cant install it on RHD. it will require some modification to build the RHD dash side thats under the k1 bezel to give it structure
Thank you for providing a great video illustrating the 360 cam setup. You must have done a ton of research plus trial and error because Carobotor provide 0 customer assistance. I really like the K1 which provides much better sound and functions for my Jeep Sahara 2013. I have so many questions about settings and software updates. Do you think you could help me or know someone who could?

hi there again but by any chance can you provide which USB adapter or reader you are using to read the memory card? the current USB line provided by carobotor company is just for single USB which I imagine is just for charging and connecting phone.

Yes, the batman still works. However, you can either use the batman rear cam or the 360 rear cam. if you have both plugged in, they tend to interfere with the video. you could ideally create a switch to flip either/or.
I'm interested in adding just the front camera, could I buy this kit and keep my batman but add the front camera only? Better yet, could I just buy another Batman camera from CaRobotor that I could mount to the front and buy a multi cable than have the higher quality of the Batman on both the front and back?
I just reveive this 360cam kit today and I try it really fast and look great... thank you for that ... but i leave the batman cam in the old port and it look to work in 360 mode with 3 other cam in other port 👍👍👍 but i Will wait the final instalation to find à good place for the side camera stay there when i remove the door . Plug and play and very cooooooool
Hey brother finally got the cameras, I have a quick question do you have to connect any wire to the reverse light for the rear camera? Or it does it itself like Batman?
I just installed mine. The only problem I have is the turn signal cam. When I turn the my signal the video is not showing. I already turn it ON in the settings just like you showed on your video. I just want to ask did you do extra wiring? I noticed there is a white colored wire at the end of the left and right wire camera. Thanks
You need to extend those wires to your turn signals to get that. Its a 12v input that triggers the cam to switch. IF you want to use the Rear view cam instead of the batman, you will need to connect rear cam to reverse trigger too.
@@rhd-jkur401 Did you have to apply any special setting for the Seicane 360 cam to enable the backup camera or works automatically? Also, did you remove the default backup camera plug/wire from the K1?
Great video and content. One question regarding the 12 pin video connector. Can you show where this connects on the back of the K1? Or, will it take additional effort i.e. (cutting, wire splicing) etc.thx.
@@chesleylohnes8933 I ran with the cables similar to this vid here > ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-AnwdMlHY1eY.html I created a disconnect on the 4 pin camera cable right by where the door disconnect is located.
I think there should be a function for the image to be stitched, contact Carobotor, I installed the similar system on my wrangler abs image comes out seamless after stitch function. It’s a calibration required…I can see the image is not stitched properly in top view image on yours
Yes, I reviewed the option that allows you to calibrate the cameras which is built into the software. I have a few other modifications to make to my setup before I do my final calibration, so will get to it whenever I can.
@@rhd-jkur401 oh cool so there is an option for the calibration…can’t wait to see it, post the video when done. I will be installing the K1 and Jpro soon maybe j can connect my currents cameras to it

@@5sunny01 I have posted the cameras i used in my post. Not sure of HD cameras. We will have to wait for Support in future. Calibration pictures to follow once i figure out the calibration mats.
I have tried to contact these guys over and over to get the RCA harness since I ordered it before that option was up on the site.....they WILL NOT get back with me on it. Is there any way that you can help me figure out which one is for the sub? I guess I will have to add it myself.

Here is how the inputs map out: - CVBS1 is Aux Video - CVBS2 is Front Cam - VIDEO OUT is "DVD" in 4. Enable the shortcuts in the backend via 8878 passcode
@@venomfastback you can skip the "re-pin" if you dont have the need for SIM/4G/LTE. All the other inputs are where they should, tested. (Pending verification of MIC)
Is there any way you can show how you routed the GPS wiring (or if you can use the one the jeep comes from the factory) and where you routed the 4G antenna. Everything else is really straight forward I would assume from the diagrams they have released its just those two things that have me confused a bit. Thank you for posting the vids, very informative!
I tried to hide them as much as I can, so instead of sticking them to the windshield, i just stuck them on the inside of the radio housing on either side. They come with double sided tape. Reception works well for both. (until it doesnt, and then ill change strategy)
