That’s crazy. A razor scraper 🪒 makes the trimming way easier. They don’t have tape ? Instead of rope or whatever that was supposed to do. You always want to wear gloves so you don’t leave oils from fingers around the perimeter. You want a good bond to the pinchweld and glass. I would be surprised if that didn’t leak lol.
I do this for a living. This fool isn't even wearing gloves. He does the work in the 1970's style long abandoned by guys worth their salt. He needs a cut out tool
This is such a poor way to replace your backscreen. It damages your vehicle color and your safety. You need a professional and proper tools to get your back glass replaced. The silicone that person was using is also very poor quality. For car glass you need Polyurethane Sealant and not a Silicone. What a waste of time this video, its shows how not to do it .....health and safety clearly not important nor masking of the sides to prevent over spray.
This wasn't a good job...using oem glass with third quallity general purpose sillicone...and tieing with ropes... We are in same buisness since 2007.....we do this type of job in just 30minutes... And u can drive away immediately...
Hi! Did you use the primer before applying that windscreen sealer ? And tell me if someone use the primer or not using the primer does it make any difference?
