Welcome to the History Digger RU-vid channel. I absolutely dig history (pun intended) and use this site to share stories and information about metal detecting and the adventures my friends and I have rediscovering yesterday’s lost treasures. I swing the XP Deus ll and the Minelab Manticore metal detectors. If you also "dig history and metal detecting" please SUBSCRIBE and join in the fun! All channel proceeds are being donated to the Tunnel to Towers organization. Thanks for stopping by and happy digging!

Wow a lot of nice items, the hammered coins are always a great welcome after digging a hole....LOL....I will be headed to the same place you went next year 1 sept. 25 to 14 sept 25....I been across the pond digging a few times but never in the Norfolk area. I just got a new XP II so that will be fun and interesting. Just of of curiosity did you stick with Jason Jone's Program the whole time there or did you bounce back in forth from one to another? I am sure like everything you will have to tweak it depending on the conditions. Well Congrats with all you finds!
I’m booked for that same date next year so we’ll be detecting together! I did go back and forth but pretty much used the Norfolk Button Boy Hammy Program. Worked well for me.
Can you help please,my mi6 was paired to my deus then i removed mi6 so i can use it with my nox But poiner is not playing ball When i switch on i dont get the lights flashing either 3,2 or 1 and it only seems to work as i get very close to target I've unpaird it with remote control before hand Very frustrating... Any help would be most grateful
Are you in the U.S.? If so email me your phone number at thehistorydigger@gmail.com and a good time and I can walk you through it on the phone. Or I can try and give u some written guidance here. Sounds like you need to use the “cold menu” to simply turn on your light and use the “hot menu” with either program 2 or 3 which respectively offer medium/high sensitivity.
