@@g3oooooe 1996 what up doe sessions is actually a beat tape made in 1996 but most if not all the beats are from 1995 so that’s what I refer it to now lol, the SV1 tape has the extra beats at the end of the tape. Which is the Les McCann beat and some other beat
@@noaharkadedelgado i seeee yea that is true that most the beats on what up doe are 95. wish there was an actual 95 batch out there tho like the 96 one.
@@noaharkadedelgado i was thinking that as well, i wonder if there’s more tracks on that tape he showed, or if the entire tape is just those 6 or 7 beats.
My fav dilla beat rn and the remake sounds very dope. Especially drums and Bassline are very good. Anybody know the sample? Trying to get the notes for keys
N n n n nutting from ur love Because, everything that you do is above, standard, candidly I think the master piece is you getting down looking up at me, 45 degree burns from the way your hands turn But I will never learn Where you learning it from
That’s the magic with his beats. Every time I try to find some similar vibe songs in Spotify it’s always over the top, ultra side chained, messy shit. We gotta keep in mind that dilla made these for people to MC in, but regardless it’s beautiful
personally for my drums i add 70% swing to the whole pattern and then i push the hi hats (with don’t snap selected) a little bit forward, the snares a tiny bit back and the ghost kicks closer to the main kicks, with all the kicks being pushed forward around the same amount as the hi hats. if my explanation is poor i’m sorry it’s hard to explain without examples 😭
