En Kör is a vocal ensemble with 12 singers based in Stockholm. The choir started as a project during the autumn of 2016 with the aim to sing complex choral music in a small ensemble and to engage all singers in the entire musical process.
We love to challenge ourselves and always search for experiences. Our vision is to create music at a high level and share that with a wide audience. Through our performance, we want to make choral music more accessible so that both people new to choral music and more experienced listeners can understand and appreciate the nuances in it.
The entire group participate in the musical process. The final version of a piece is worked out together during rehearsals. The choir performs 2-4 concerts per year. Apart from that we also like to make recordings, sing at events and travel together. In 2019 we participated in the choir competition Adriatic Pearl in Dubrovnik, Croatia and won the categories "B1 - Mixed choirs" and "S - Musica Sacra".
Thank you, En Kör! Very beautiful and rich choral sound, as always ✨. May I ask which arrangement you are singing in this version? Most versions last half the duration of this one, so I am curious.
Amazingly beautiful! Question: why are you standing in this order? Curious about how this is done like this... Or maybe someone else could enlighten me? I'd like to learn to understand!
Hello! I finally decided to write a comment... I want to express my deep gratitude to you for your creativity! I heard the piece Wiigen-lied performed by you a year ago. I was amazed at the unusual and mysterious beauty of the music and how subtly and sensually you conveyed it! After that I became interested in the composer Per Nørgaard and began to study his music. Thanks to your performance, I began to get acquainted with Danish music and, in general, with modern choral music of Scandinavia! Now I even want to write an essay on this music. You inspired me a lot! Thank you again for the incredible performance and for all your hard work! I've watched a lot of your videos and I love it! You are very talented!❤

What a treat to read your comment! We’re thrilled to hear that our performance introduced you to Per Nørgård and sparked your interest in Danish and Scandinavian choral music 🎶 Your kind words will bring a lot of joy to the entire group. Thank you for sharing your experience and for your support!
Fantastic! Great job! Just found this site and shared it with another composer who specializes in choral music...a very successful composer. I might add. Lives near me.....
Je n'avais pas aimé le morceau précédent mais celui-ci me réconcilie avec votre ensemble qui trouve dans ce genre toute son harmonie et son excellence. BRAVO !
Ohh thank you so much...!! Would I be allowed to quickly sing a song and record it with my phone?

@@pputnam100 We can't speak for Oskarskyrkan, but you will most likely be able to sing a bit in most churches here in Sweden as long as there isn't any ongoing event 🎶
Terrific perfomance! This is among the hardest pieces in the choral repertoire, and you just nailed it. The chords are perfectly balanced and in tune. Bravo!

Thank you! ❤️ Poulenc wrote some truly amazing music!
Hi, 🦩🦩May I share the most important news you will ever hear? God the Father sent His holy Son Jesus Christ(Y'shua Ha' Mashiach) from heaven to earth, to be born of a virgin. He grew up and died on the cross for our sins. He was put into a tomb for 3 days, and then Abba Father raised Jesus to life and He appeared to people and went back to Heaven. We must all sincerely receive Jesus to be a true child of God. It says in John 1:12 "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name." Will you genuinely believe on Christ Jesus and truly receive Him today, before it is too late?
A beautiful version of this lovely song. I can't help but cry a bit every time I hear this song. I used to sing my dear wife to sleep with this, and others, when she was in the care home with dementia and strokes. She is gone now, but the tears still prevail. Our mixed chorus is going to learn this one soon, so I need to get over the tears. It is hard to sing with a lump in your throat.
