Would like to see you do this painting with liquid white just on the bottom half of the canvas Jason. That would allow you to have the reflections from the trees in the water and some white water ripples around bank. Great video.
Jason, This is one of your best very best works and Im going to attempt it in the next several weeks. Im surprised you were able to use a "dry dark/black" canvas and it really made a huge difference as it enhanced the dark areas in the mountains to look so natural and provided very vibrant and natural transitions and separation with the snow which also made ALL the features literally "PoP!" and stand out! Very very well done. Your observations of Mr. Ross really paid off and you've added your own uniqueness and personality to your videos which is great. Thanks for sharing your gift. Keep on creating!
I just got on to your painting it one of the best waterfalls yet. I am down under Australia. There is lots to paint from one end to the other if you get time
HEY ALL, I HAVE A QUESTION I CAN'T SEEM TO GET A STRAIGHT ANSWER TO WHICH IS DO I WAIT FOR ANY DURATION OF TIME AFTER APPLYING LIQUID WHITE ON THE COTTON CANVAS BEFORE OIL PAINTING?? MY LIQUID WHITE IS HALF TITANIUM WHITE AND HALF LINSEED OIL. ID APPRECIATE ANY REPLY TO HELP ME OUT ON THIS QUESTION
@@JasonBowen I truly thank you Jason for replying to my question. I'm brand new at painting but loved drawing in my youth with charcoal pencil and had natural talent in it. I drew mountain and lake sceneries mostly and dinosaurs 🦕 lol When I had children I stopped drawing. Now I'd like to try to paint them. mountains I mean, not my children lol Hey brother keep teaching. I'm hooked on your videos 😎👍
Oh ! Goody - back to painting - hurrah !!!! There's a small space on my wall just right for another painting ! Welcome back to the colourful media and brush.
I remember a half of an orange you drew several years ago and a certain pitcher- they were splendid drawings. But you can also draw with paint-it’s always been a very interesting part of watching over the years. Always a ray of hope to those of us that CANNOT draw but love to paint!👏🏼😏😂. Thanks!
Oh great - there you are ! I was rather hoping you would doing some Art soon! You were missed ! I think for a first sketch it turned out well. Not my choice of medium but you managed it.
It's a shame that there are so many people who copy Bob Ross. Why don't you teach yourself your own painting style, which will then distinguish you as a painter. Bob Ross is a good elementary school of painting, nothing more.
