I used an abbreviated 5-line because the DAP already had eyes on us so I could get rounds down range more quickly. We were also working with a partner force that used some different procedures then what I was taught. Appreciate the love
@@venator-lunae most of it was okay, however you never granted weapons release, at least it was never shown on video. "Pushing/push" is giving the A/C permission to begin flight from their IP/BP towards the target. You had already correlated the target so that's fine. Once the A/C is approaching the target they will inform the controller they are "in from N/S/W/E" etc. As you used a type 1 control the controller must visually acquire both the A/C and the target with his MK1 Eyeball, assess attack geometry and when sure it is safe to do so, he will grant weapons release with "cleared hot" in the case of type 1 control. Abbreviating lines is common and absolutely necessary at times. However this stuff I mentioned above cannot be abbreviated or overlooked, if you get that portion I mentioned squared away it'll be super slick, especially in an arma context where a lot of the info is unnecessary. Good shit overall, capabilities are being expanded.
@@irish9177 The reason I wasn't clearing him because the partner force pilot wasn't informing me on their "in from the "heading"" so I couldn't clear him, I also requested guns and rockets so I could visually clear him but he decided to fire apkws from a distance from where I couldn't see him. I fully agree that with a type 1 BOT you need to see and vissually clear the attack run however procedure wise we weren't on the same page.
