Platilin hid bombs and guns everywhere, even where kids play. How terrifying is it to risk your kid like this, sending them to a place that's supposed to be safe?
Perfectly description of the state of things. Someone posted a comic on reddit, that ends with "from the river to the sea, Palestine shall be free". I asked: "Free from whom? After all, Arab Muslims invaded Palestine in the 7th century." Or something to that effect. I was banned and accused of hatespeech, they withdrew that and then accused me of "promoting genocide". I pointed out that it wasn't I that called for Palestine to be freed, I merely inquired whether they knew who the occupiers were and then I called the moderators either incompetent or abusing their power. Then the accused me of harassment of the moderators and when I complained the moderators found no fault with the moderators. That site is a joke... :D As youtube might also be, because they keep censoring posts as well. Not for the call for genocide of "from the river to the sea, Palestine shall be free", but for pointing out that eg. Hamas's warcrime of hiding amongst civilians gets civilians killed or the historical fact that Arab Muslims under the Rashidun Caliphate invaded the area known as Palestine in the 7th century.
The comment deletion is crazy. There should be laws against it and for transparency. Most subreddits have a ridiculous amount of rules and moderators who keep deleting dissenting opinions. Lots of stuff gets deleted on RU-vid, too, by channel owners or RU-vid auto moderation that can easily enforce political bias and always gets a large number of false positives. It is all a fear of free speech. I would prefer a system where users can make only a limited number of comments per day and where comments can be downvoted and hidden (but not deleted).
