Took me a couple of months to get all the pieces together to do this swap. Deep in the process now. Wathced this video at least 5 times in preperation for the swap. You are absolutley right, the gasket is the hardest part of the job. Thanks, you helped me a ton !
dont do this to your boosted build man, this is not reliable you do not have a consistent AFR using an fmu there is no commanded fuel pressure super risky setup for any boosted car, spend the money get the tune.
Hey man, thanks for posting this. I just bought a 2017 Subaru and after driving for about one month I noticed how my bumper was starting to sag and eventually come loose on one side
Looks great, nice vid. Going to pick some up for my ‘13 from your link. Did you end up swapping the halogen bulbs for LED? How do they look if so? And I’ve seen mixed reviews about the C-shaped LEDs not working as DRLs without the low beams on, can you turn just the C-shape LEDs on without low beams?
@@kadenielsen210 I did switch to LED and I love how they look. And I’ll have to check the C lights. I think the headlights have to be on in order for them to be lit up. Thanks for watching and commenting!
@@brotherboostthanks for the response! One more question: do you have any issues with keeping your LED bulbs cool? Looks like the low beam housing has a bit of a back cover. I’m concerned the LEDs I’m looking at (which have fans on them to cool) will overheat inside the housing.
@@brotherboost awesome. Thanks man, going to follow this guide tomorrow when my lights get here from Amazon. Hope your subi is still going strong, thank you for the install video!
@brotherboost in that case it's a cheap upgrade to move to y8 injectors. Stock y7 has the smallest injector size coming in at 180cc Y8 and other honda b/d injectors are 240cc. We have done many of FMU set ups and they work amazing for what they are. I've ran many of hondas this way and many of Na/T subie set ups running a fmu set up. For under 10psi you can't beat it.
have you noticed any difference in the transmission since running the 10w30? smoother shifting/engagement, issues that were occurring before hand that are no longer happening, etc?
Nah cuz my phone has a setting where it changes from cool colors to warm colors to make it easier on my eyes when it's darker and it just switched as the bike came into focus and it had me trippin for a sec 😭
