Hey! Welcome to my channel. I am a Utah car wash enthusiast, and I like to record the washes I think are cool. Thank you for stopping by, and happy washing!
It pretty cool how you can run a car wash and show how it works and modes. It's also pretty interesting how you can't push a higher number on the screen also you might break the car wash.
You really find all the awesome rare machines all over! I was just in Salt Lake and visited some sites that you visited. The Monarch, and Merchandiser are both down now unfortunately, crazy how many tunnels there are out there now too! Just wanted to pass along, I have been coming across a few sites, both new and old using HF-Acid for pre-soaks particularly in MN, & IA, I just wanted to pass along just because that stuff is so nasty, and I generally assume car wash operators aren’t using it but the truth is they are because it works so well.
That gamer RGB arm just seems so overkill for me lol, I like the Razer's single blue color SpectraRay arm better but screw Belanger for making them get rid of it
At least the system runs better than it looks (supposedly?). As long as it gets the car cleaned effectively, then I don't see an issue with the system (it actually looks pretty clean to me). I do liked that they kept the Thrust Pro Dryer from the old SoftGloss system on this, those are pretty solid dryers when they work correctly.
@@LoneStarCarWashes-dc3er They intended on replacement. The only reason they didn’t was because the owner got so ahead of himself when remodeling that he threw himself $700k in debt. Plus, he doesn’t take good care of his equipment, as you can see by the dirty bay. I went there last month and the bays were dry, for good reason.
@@TheCarWashSoutherner I’m amazed the shear bolt can handle all that shaking on a routine basis. I haven’t heard much from people who maintain them but I can’t imagine they last very long when every single time the HP activates the arm goes BOIOIOING.
@@TheCarWashSoutherner From what I have heard that is supposed to be a warning piezo, but I don’t buy it. Maybe a piezo to get people clear of the machine so it can sense the car correctly? I’m still not sure.
@@robloxcarwashes6270 They are not the same. At all. Completely different owners, completely different mindsets, completely different management, completely different washes.
What exactly does a rainbow coat, red hot cleanser in ceramic body wax actually do? And why are you waxing a car before you rinse it? I have a subscription to their service but I opted to take the second to the lowest package, because they don't explain what they're there higher packages actually bring to the table. Maybe you can find out from them and get back with us.
@@captivethoughts1745 Rainbow coat is a conditioner most likely, and red hot cleaner is likely a lube soap. Ceramic body wax will give your vehicle more of a shine and make it more scratch resistant. In addition to that, it will make your vehicle surface hydrophobic, and any rain water will simply roll off, reducing the need for windshield wipers. You don’t necessarily need to rinse the car before waxing because the brushes have already flicked all of it off, and the soap contains what is left of it. The wax will help rinse off the dirty soap itself. In summary, higher packages include more lubricating soaps and conditioners, and protective applications.
Its nice to know this system was refurbished and the owners took the time to keep an older system in service. They don't make car wash systems like they used to.
