This is crazy, this dude name is Angel L. Perez, he is a crackhead and he is not related to Maria Acevedo. He was her worker, she went missing like 12yrs ago. Maria has never been reported missing nor did her family members ever claim the store. Word on the street is that she passed away and Angel buried her in the basement in order to keep the property. Today August 15, 2024, someone burned the store down (possible suspect is Angel boyfriend). Sad that another crackhead died in the store while Angel and his dog made it out alive. Maria Acevedo case needs to be investigated.
I have a 1000 memories all related to that intersection, Dirty Frank's, Sabra, Giovanni's Room, More Than Just ice Cream, antique row, and countless other things around the way there. Back then there were no images on the outside walls of Frank's. It was like a bunker/refuge on a daily basis for me to hang out in that bar with a variety of Philly characters from all walks of life.
