i have an a3 quattro and my transfer box is leaking. i want to top it up temporarily while i figure out getting the leak fixed. do you put the same oil into the transfer box as gear box? i thought transfer needed different oil! cheers
It may depend on year , but i consulted a friend at Audi and they gave me the spec for the oil which they use for both the gearbox and transfer....the only difference i know of is the haldex which is completely different . I would say to be safe consult the experts to make sure.
They tended to do them at set times like from 12 -1am then did the normal version aftrewards...to be honest the "Quite" Disco are twice as noisy as the normal ones 😆
Hi Ade, just now today saw you left Audi family? To bad you didnt ask me before about leaving? Myself start with A3 98 as new car until 2006 when a brand new A3 FSi 2.0 Quattro came in with 200 fresh HP? Still is with 190 000km with just small repairs, still use original pads on front wheels, must be a record, same pads alla those miles? Looking forword You came back in family at least with one car? Barythone Saxophone like Gerry Mulligan would suit your style also! Johnny A3 and Trumpeter guy
To be honest when we brought the BMW we drove a lot of the new Audi's as we have had them for years and loved them...Unfortunately I found the newer ones just a bit boring and not as good a drive or as well laid out as all the others we have had... Loved the old 80's and even had the 16V which I should have kept....but the BMW was the car we both smiled when driving ....it does help its got tons of torque , and was gutted when the first one got stolen.
Hey, I followed you on Instragram but how do you get the side console with the buttons for the windows/roof off? I removed the screw but it won't come unattached. I need to access beneath it.
Thanks...I really need to step things up a little ... keep trying to get my head around new things but need a little motivation as playing on your own soon gets boring ..
We really enjoyed this and it brought back some lovely memories. Shame your weather was a bit dull, it definitely looked more cheerful in the sunshine. Thats a nice little square with the restaurants and bars. We loved Marseille, I think the weather helped! We plan to go back for a 4 day break. We love Marella - not tired the discovery. So sorry you didn't enjoy Marseille, it's so weird how you can have such different experiences. Love your towel crab! You two are fun and scrub up well!! Fun vlog guys and cheers 🍻
Thanks for the positive comments...yeah i think the fact everything was so much hassle and not really tourist friendly knocked the shine off the place for us...but had a great week and look forward to cruise number 29 😀
Mine was throwing up a fault code intermittently and showing the EML... from what i understand you can still drive the car but risk overheating when stationary ... I did mine withing a couple of days but did not use the car much , but again was intermittent and had not fully failed.
@@AdeReeves Interesting just happened to mine yesterday, will have to wait at least a few days to get it sorted whilst doing 30 miles a day... Seemed to have lost a bit of power when i was driving this morning
seems this is the description Audi give... so seems more for comfort than anything else ....Audis are indeed strange 😀 A secondary water pump (or auxiliary water pump) is not connected to the cooling system and is primarily used to circulate warm coolant to the heater exchanger. It's for driver and passenger comfort, allowing sufficient heating at low RPM and speeds.
physically changing it around an hour....the issue is it takes a couple of hours at best to take all the induction side off... It's not a great design keeping in mind years ago they where on the top of the engine with just two screws holding them...Progress Hey ?
Nice review, but 20 quids ($25 USD)?? That's too pricy for me. I bought several of these for around $10 each (including shipping). "E88 pro" is made by many different small Chinese factories, so all these are actually different from the other. I get surprised every time I order one as each is different the the previous one I received (such as software used, lack of camera quality, controller build, drone build and flight behavior). But for the price it's hard to complain.
2019 pre covid what a time we had on Marella discovery, each night ending up in bar Eleven, hopefully 3rd September is going to be another great holiday, thanks for sharing it's brought us good memories 👍
Hi Ade great drone footage of the Normanton church , I've also been watching your trip on Discovery 2, we in September, did you take your drone 🤔, I'm thinking of taking mine, did you take the DJI Osmo 3 for your tours, great content really good footage, thanks for sharing.👍👍
Fantasticly helpful thanks was not sure how the ice came out of the tray and now see it twists. Not sure it's the greatest design in the world but at least I now know how it should work.
Niceset of vlogs. Trust you to spot the Tigra! Of course i forgot about the roadworks at Luton. Hopefully thats slightly better as im flying from that airport next year 😆
Loved Tarragona when we visited but I see you didn’t go in the old castle. It’s worth the visit to go into the tunnels! Also the walls are worth a walk around as lots of history! You get a pass for all three including cathedral but if you are on a budget I can see why you skipped it. Not sure if you watched my walk around from the other year. Oh the cherry one is amazing mate one of my favourite flavours.
I wish the previous owner of my S3 8P had the same morals as you, as I'm 20k in parts and upgrades on a car that's worth 7K over 3 years after the previous owner covered the warnings lights on the dash to get it through the MOT etc! PS is that ticking normal, as mine didn't do it then one day it randomly started doing it? I thought it might be the injectors or something as mine has the RS3 injectiors, and an upgraded high pressure pump, and cam follower, Or it might cam chain slightly overdue ( it's booked in next week to be done )
Dam... how can people be such arses... the ticking is the injectors and they are always noisy ,but if you get a slower louder one it could be the lifter, but the wife's A3 diesel had one that "ticked" for years and never caused a problem , I only changed it just before I sold it.
Great video, makes me really excited for our cruise on board this shit in 8 weeks time (not that I’m counting haha). One question, do you have to pre book the climbing wall or just turn up and climb?
We were on D2 just before, never missed being anywhere quite as much as being on that cruise...the whole thing is just fabulous and the staff are the finest I've ever met...we're booking for next year soon
Why would you sit at a table with someone’s dirty plates left . 😮 The glass house just to hot to sit and eat in , and eating food with that strong smell of chlorine, Not for me . Best restaurant is Gallery 47 . Best bar is bar 11 . Live room needs about 200 more seats and tables .
Nice to see the fancy cars and boats at the start! Nice ice creams at 3 euros each is a very good price isn’t it! 36:40 wow what a super yacht 40:13 geez I would have put them back lol glad you had a better night!
